I’ve come here a few times and the food, vibe, and staff are WONDERFUL, ****but**** I’ve popped over almost every single weekend on the way to / on the way from hiking at Raven Run, and they’re always closed :/. I hope the owner or their investors or whomever is able to get the place re-opened because this has such AMAZING potential as a great little secret gem of a spot.
If the owner sees this could you let us know what’s going on?
Rooting for you! :)
In the meantime, kinda messed up to not update your hours. I drove 30+ minutes multiple times because you said you were open.
We live 30 minutes from the restaurant and have enjoyed eating there in the past. The past two times we have gone, they have been closed. We called multiple times and the phone rings busy. We checked Facebook and Instagram - no updates. Google states “open now”. Sadly, we won’t be returning.
Literally everything said they were open and my whole family made a trip outside of Lexington to visit, and they were closed. There was no way for us to see that, as both their website and google said they were open. Their phone lines are down. Don’t count on it being open when you go.
Excellent food. Folks owe it to themselves to go out there and give it a try.
Off the beaten path but worth the scenic drive, lovely staff and convivial atmosphere. We were here for brunch on a Saturday during winters last hurrah, cloudy, overcast with cold, wintry rain. The facility is an interesting juxtaposition of a private catering business, premade frozen meals to go, with a small cafe. It’s best to call ahead to confirm their operating hours as their catering and event business may interfere w cafe hours. I had a biscuit sausage gravy w two eggs combo. The biscuit was beautifully soft with a love by home made effort taste. I was not as happy about the sausage gravy. To my palate, sausage gravy begins with cooking the sausage of your choice, preferably home made but Jimmy Dean Hot is a good stand in. Chorizo is good too. Sausage is crumbled as it cooks until all traces of pink and wee brown bits appear. Using butter, bacon drippings or other pork fat helps build flavor. After sausage is done, AP flour is added to make a roux. The flour needs to be cooked over low and slow heat until it turns a toasty brown. Then milk, half &half, cream or a combo w water is added. The gravy is stirred prodigiously to avoid clumps and to incorporate flavors. It will thicken as it comes to a boil. The end product is not ‘white’ milk gravy but the lightly brown result of toasting the flour w meat drippings before adding the liquid. Sausage gravy is not white Béchamel w a few sausage crumbles thrown in. In the past, it was a staple on the breakfast tables of rural families who needed a hearty breakfast before starting the days labors. So a lengthy no to the gravy! Hahaha Eggs were cooked to order. Sausage not my fav. But our wonderful hostess split my biscuit so I could have half w butter and jam. R tea points for the wonderful staff. My companion enjoyed his breakfast burrito calling it delicious. Self serve drinks, tableware, condiments. Your food is delivered to your table. A but expensive breakfast for two at over $40. Plus again my pet peeve, self serve asking for a gratuity BEFORE you eat your meal. This country is crazy for expecting people to add another 15, 18, 20, 24% or more before any service is provided!!!
Outstanding meal. Company event and a schedule mixup but they recovered quickly and created an awesome event. Highly recommend!
Don't trust the hours of operation. Call ahead!
Precious place! Food is always excellent and Feed and Supply offers frozen meals to take home that are delicious. A secret, awesome place to take friends, family, and out of town guests!!!!

Passed through a couple times now for a takeout meal while working. The food is great! I could eat my weight in potato salad. Paid between $12-15, which anymore is what you’ll pay for fast food, so you might as well get something delicious and support local while you’re at it! The cute location and scenic drive down around the ferry doesn’t hurt either.
I was in the area on October 12th 2024 traveling to fort boonesborough I stopped by this beautiful place and talked to a very nice friendly lady at the front and she was very welcoming to a person she didn't know I didn't have time to dine this trip but I'll be back.I want to thank you for helping me on that journey that day.

Cozy little getaway. Great food, people and surroundings. Heading back soon!
Cozy setting laid-back friendly down to earth great lunch and dinner.
This place is so wonderful! The interior and exterior have clearly been given so much love and attention. It’s located in such a cool little part of town it’s intriguing and just the best. My salad was delicious but the joy for me came from the whole experience. Will absolutely go back
So today was my first trip to Feed and Supply and now im in love. I ordered the F+S burger with everything on it. The burger itself was phenomenal and probably one of the best ive had, then you add farm fresh bacon and it just becomes next level. Definitely in my top 3. The sides were good enough to be a main dish on the menu. The food, the atmosphere, combined with a very friendly staff make this place a must stop. Ive read some reviews about the pricing and to be honest it was no more expensive than anywhere else. The quality and flavor of the food was worth every penny. If the old saying is true, that you get what you pay for, then i may owe them some money lol.
Great food! Great service!
