This place was a hit of nostalgia for me, this particular location, though tasty, is pretty understaffed. The waitress was really nice and was really good as far as service but you can tell she had a lot to handle. The food was pretty good and I still recommend this place to whoever is in the area.

Went through the Hamburg location and ordered 2 big boys and 1 order of fries through the drive thru. Only 2 cars in front of me and of course I have no idea what they ordered but it literally took 15mins to get from speaker to the window. When I got to window the employee was very nice and friendly. Took the money and returned change quickly and said it would be just a minute for my order. Well I then had to sit there at the window literally 10 more minutes for order. Like I said I just ordered 2 big boys and 1 fry. I believe waiting 10mins for what would seem like a normal regular order after I've already been waiting 15mins in line just to get to window is a bit long. So after a total 25mins in the drive thru line I finally get my order and get back on the road I finally begin to eat. Well when I do one of my big boys are completely plain. I mean literally just meat and bun and my fries were so cold and hard they may as well still been frozen. And of cpurse by this point I'm already half way to Winchester. So I'm not sure what was going on in there today but I will definitely not be back to this location and wouldn't recommend anyone else to either especially on a slow mid afternoon day. Yes, this is the second time in less than a month that I have come through the drive-thru and they pulled me up so they could make my order. I sat outside for 15 minutes. When I went inside to get my food, I saw it sitting under the hot lamps, open, and no one would bag it. The drive-thru cashier finally came around and said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot about you." I told her this was the second time. She had done the same thing to me a month ago. I take my food home and i find out that my food was cold, but it was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. When i asked to speak with a manager i was told that they had stepped out to go to bank. However the office door was standing wide open. I believe they just didnt want to come address the issue, or that one of the 3 different people that I had talked to trying to get my food, from the counter where it was open to be bagged for me. As i said this is the second time in a month that the exact same thing has happened to me The drive-thru cashier pulled me and then forgets about me and i must go in to get my pwn food. I will never return to the frisch's again. I sincerely hope that this review is seen by the right person and the issue gets addressed. This restaurant is in Lexington, Kentucky, on Aleysheba Way...... I gave it only a 1 star review for the simple fact that I can't give it a zero or negative star.

If Frisch's closes at 10pm, then why is the salad bar closing around 8pm? As soon as the waitress told me that the salad bar was closed, I got up and left. I don't see anywhere on the website where the salad bar shuts down a couple of hours early before the restaurant closes. Unacceptable!!!!

We’re typically Frisch’s fans. This visit, though, was typical of the downward spiral we’ve been noticing over the last year or so.
Maybe it’s a shortage of staff or a shortage of funds to hire staff. It’s possible management is too exhausted or not motivated to properly train the people they DO get. Whatever the cause it’s getting worse. Where oh where is Denny’s?
We waited a long time to get seated. It wasn’t a long line but several Crew members walked by us and completely ignored us. The same thing happened when we were asking for to-go boxes. We almost left cash and walked out because they can’t even pay attention long enough to take the dang money. Don’t make it hard for me to give you money!
The server was pleasant but we got zero refills and had to hunt down our own to go boxes. Overall, very disappointing & unwelcoming. It was almost as though everyone working Front of the House had better things to do & we are NOT needy diners! The Manager or whoever was in the office never came out although several people went in to talk. What a mess!
I have Always Loved Frischs! Today was an Extra special experience. Our waitress ( Shanece Carter) was the Absolute best waitress I have ever had at any Restaurant! My 2 Grandsons adored her❤️ She was Awesome!!? We had to get a couple of pictures with her outside with BigBoy. My youngest Grandson and her clicked? your Restaurant is Very Blessed to have her working for you! TREAT HER GOOD❤️

Worst meal I’ve ever had. Ordered omelette and a roast beef open face the hash browns were horrible the omelette was too burnt with brown bubbles on bottom very dry just nasty , both meals. At the register she never asked how was your meal. So after paying I said it was horrible and her reply was she wished I would have said something before I paid but I’m positive she could have reversed charges back to my card and done some kind of discount. Never again and manager should taste the hash browns
