🚨 WARNING: This Golden Corral Location Needs an Emergency Shutdown and TOTAL Renovation NOW! 🚨I am writing this review with genuine disappointment and urgency. This specific Golden Corral used to be my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE place to eat, but after my last two visits in the past couple of months, I am officially done until they make massive changes.The building itself is old and Out-dated, and it desperately needs a renovation, but their biggest problem is far more serious: it's a CRITICAL PLUMBING DISASTER.The entire restaurant reeks of raw sewage. It’s not a mild, occasional whiff; it's a constant, PUNCH-YOU-IN-THE-FACE smell of raw sewage that permeates the whole dining area. Who wants to smell DISGUSTING, ROTTEN plumbing while they are trying to eat? It is absolutely VILE and disgusting, and it totally ruins the entire experience.The bathrooms are always NASTY and UNSANITARY, and the smell in there is so foul it will KNOCK YOU DOWN—and that is essentially the same odor the entire restaurant is filled with.This location needs to shut down before it's too late. They need to do a COMPLETE RENOVATION and, most importantly, address and fix their SEVERE PLUMBING AND SEWAGE problem.The last two times of enduring that UNACCEPTABLE smell have made me realize I cannot and will not come back until they fix this health hazard and upgrade the entire facility.

I was very disappointed to find the store not open for breakfast when I got there at 8 AM Sunday. The website says 7:30-11 but the sign on the door says it opens at 11. I made a half hour drive for nothing.

Love that place, anytime i'm routed near ruther glen, VA i make it a point to break at that flying j. Every truck stop should have one. Too many of them are killing us off with fast food.

Cost more than other Golden Corral restaurants, the food is old & the meats were dry , the lemon cake was hard & the carrot cake cupcakes were not fresh.
The service was bad , because there was none. We will never eat there again.
I did go to the site & filed an official complaint.

Great location. Lunch at 11:00 am. Lots of food, great place for getogethers, great selections, well prepared, outstanding salad bar. Hot food is hot and cold items are cold. Awesome baker chef with outstanding deserts. Ice cream with hot fudge, caramel and crushed nuts. Love it. Very reasonably priced for seniors!
