Visited Graeter’s Ice Cream (also great at a few other spots around Lexington and Northern Kentucky) and had an awesome ice cream experience! The ice cream is incredibly creamy and rich thanks to their traditional French pot process, and the flavor selection is excellent—whether you go for classics or seasonal favorites.
The staff was friendly, and the shop had a welcoming vibe perfect for grabbing a cone or a sundae. This place is a must‑visit for anyone who loves quality, flavorful ice cream and refreshing desserts on a warm day.
Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving something sweet! 🍨
Absolutely delicious and free parking is awesome
came for the ice cream stayed for the hospitality and kindness i received from Evan he has this amazing charm to him unlike anything i’ve ever experienced and i’ve been in the ice cream game awhile! i’m the third step cousin twice removed of ben from ben and jerry’s so yea u could say i know ice cream!
Good icecream but cleaning products leave an off smell to the air
WARNING! If you visit this Graeter’s, despite being a paying customer you have a good chance of getting a $60, escalating to $100 parking ticket. Something is wrong here. Read other reviews and be aware. The ice cream is great. But not worth the stress, hidden costs, or hassle that comes with it.
I visited Graeter’s Ice Cream and parked in the garage directly next to their shop — exactly as instructed. I followed their posted directions to register my car as a customer so I wouldn’t receive a ticket. Despite doing everything correctly, I still received a parking citation.
When I called Graeter’s for help, they politely but firmly passed the problem off to the parking management company. Unfortunately, that company seems to exist in name only — no one answers the phone, and their website provides no way to actually reach a human being.
The result? I paid to enjoy a cone of ice cream and was rewarded with a parking ticket and zero support.
If Graeter’s wants to keep its reputation for “sweet experiences,” it should take responsibility for the partners it chooses and protect its customers from this kind of nonsense. Until then, I’d recommend skipping this location — the ice cream melts faster than their accountability.
