Halligans Bar and Grill

Maybe the very best BLT I’ve ever had. I added American cheese & and egg and it was amazing! Extremely fast service and all the staff were very nice.

This place just... Can't figure out what it wants to be. You walk in and it's kind of a sports bar, awesome, I love a sports bar. But.... There's not a physical menu. Okay, I guess. So you order on a QR code and just sit there while the bartenders stare at you..... Want a beer? Okay I guess you can ask for one but they're gonna plop down a table marker, and oh wait.... You ordered on the QR code? Okay. Oh your food showed up. Cool.... This review is less meandering than the experience I swear.

Great looking bar. Wish the menu was better. Rules on the wall say drink menu on a table, food menu at the bar. An employee saw us and told us not to scan the table when we were sitting in the bar but there wasn't a drink menu on either. Told him that's what the rules said to do but he said that just got put up last week and tried to get us a physical menu. They would not give us a physical menu. We had no idea what the prices of any drinks were so we just left. District 7 has physical menus of food and drinks at every seat. We went there. Management should figure out a fix for the bs

Asked for a menu when we came in the door and was told it’s a QR code. After some time, no one came to the table so I went to the bar to order was told use the QR code. you order from your phone. When food came and we still had no drinks I asked for an unsweet iced tea I was told, buy a drink on your phone, via QR code and go to the bar and get a cup and get the tea yourself. Seems like they don’t like people here.

I typically only come here during events like Soulbrations or R&B night and those nights are great! And I love that my Aunts firefighter jacket is hung up in here as well🥰🥰

Sad when you have to leave such a negative review for a small business with a good cause - however I came here with friends from out of state - Indiana specifically - and AFTER being served our drinks (about halfway done with the drinks at this point) the female “manager” came to our table and asked to see our friends from out of state IDs because the bar tender who originally served us said she “wasn’t sure” if they were fake. After laughing a bit we cooperated and then the “manager” argued that because the IDs listed the weight of my friends, they were fake. We politely told her that different states have different requirements for what goes on the ID and we reminded her we are all 24 years old but she kept arguing with us very rudely (even though she was blatantly incorrect). After the commotion one of the owners - who was a very nice man - came by looked at the IDs and apologized and told us that we were fine. Did not sit right with me for the “manager” to be so worried about fake IDs, be incorrect and rude, and to incorrectly question the IDs around 15 minutes AFTER being served the drinks. The male owners were super nice but unfortunately their staff was not knowledgeable or properly trained (wanting to emphasize again the lady who approached us about our IDs introduced herself as the MANAGER) and it ruined our experience.

Owners were great but got attacked by the manager because my ID wasn’t from Kentucky and they thought we were lying about our real IDs and was very rude about it. If your from out of state and are younger looking don’t go here.

Price is right. Food is delicious. Did not have a drink as I was driving. Coming from a military, law enforcement family this place is awesome ! Can't wait to go back

We just stopped for a quick and light supper in the middle of our long drive.

It vas nice. We got chili and wings, both done very well. And a few drinks.

To make long story short, I would come back if I’m around.

My son is a foreman so I was happy to try this place but I was sadly disappointed with the service. I sat at the bar and had to flag down the bartender to get a drink, again to order food, and again just to pay. Never had any other interactions and it was not a busy a day.

Service was non-existent. Place was so under staffed and bartender had no business tending bar. Never looked up, never acknowledged anyone standing at bar and waited on people with no care for how long others waited. Poor attitudes probably because they had no help but still worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. Would never go back or recommend

Dropped in from out-of-town and got the best service from Tori. Cheeseburgers, wings and nachos were great. Wonderful atmosphere for watching football or any sports event.

🔥 Halligans Bar and Grill: Where Heroes Are Celebrated 🔥

We stumbled upon Halligans and were instantly drawn in by its firefighter theme - perfect since our son is in a college firefighting program. We FaceTimed him to show off the incredible tribute to first responders, and soon after, the owners, John and Vince, came over to chat. What started as a quick hello turned into an entire evening of great conversation, laughter, and genuine connection.

The drinks were fantastic, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We left feeling like we were hanging out with old friends.

Halligans isn’t just a bar - it’s a celebration of courage, camaraderie, and community. Can’t wait to come back!

My brothers and I stopped here Friday evening. Beauty place to go! Had some appetizers and some cocktails & beers. Stacy at the bar was awesome. She made us her signature drinks which were fantastic! The atmosphere and firefighting decor is super cool. John, the owner, came over and made us Canadians feel totally at home. Highly recommend Halligans for all ages and backgrounds. We will probably be back there tonight (Saturday)
