You walk in and take a seat. The guy behind the bar looks at you and says nothing. Guy who looks like a waiter goes by and says nothing. You finally get up to look for menu, go to another room and see walk up ordering. 10 minutes wasted. Steak sandwich has so much gristle it's barely edible. Fries were good. $13 .

Iconic place in Lexington, where you can enjoy the place and eat a good burger and other menus. The service was great and really very friendly, the flavor of the meat was very fresh and the delicious potatoes were very crispy, the decoration of the place is super emblematic and in short a place to visit and share.

Very disappointing visit to this local establishment. We went there based on Google reviews so maybe it’s just a time of transition as the hostess did admit that their chef had quit and they were in a search for a replacement. After a grueling morning of working on farm we were looking for a hearty breakfast brunch and figured we would be well satiated at a stockyard establishment! We tried ordering various items but were told they were out or no longer offering until a chef was hired. I’m not sure what a chef would have to do with a slice of country ham or a fried pork chop?? We asked if the biscuit and gravy were made in house and received an enthusiastic yes for both. My partner ordered the sausage and egg plate.
As for the biscuits and gravy - the biscuit may well have been made in house but it was microwaved to a hardness that the failing cutting with a fork, the plastic knife broke when I attempted to cut off a bite! The gravy, if indeed made in house, was…. not to my taste. In fact after the first bite of the combination of hard biscuit and in-house gravy the plate was disposed into the garbage bin. My partner was pleased that his eggs were cooked perfectly medium, no runny whites. He was not complimentary about the taste of the sausage but noted there were two large, thin patties but he only ate one. His meal came with toast and potato chunks that had been deep fried. He thought they were somewhat tasty if a bit too greasy. Drinks are self serve. Our tab for the two meals one drink and one water was $15.26 without tip. That’s a good value for the quantity of food; however, a drive thru at Tudors would have been equally inexpensive and much more palatable. Unless the new chef can greatly impact quality I doubt I would visit again. I will note that the restaurant is conveniently located. It is very clean and the decor has a barn yard vibe. Large bar area adjacent. I can see how it could be a great, fun place to go after sales or horse park events. It’s a rough Diamond needing some polish. The right team could make this place a Georgetown destination. Hope that happens!

My children ordered the kids slider burgers and fries and both were ah-mazing!! I decided to get a chef salad and I was very impressed. The lettuce was so fresh and the amount of meat made it worth the price. The service was on point and my children thoroughly enjoyed the canine staff member that greeted us as well as the steers that grazed out front. To see the horns on them in person is worth the visit lol! Thanks for making our impromptu stop likely the first of many more!!

Kid-friendliness: A female employee and a dog were out front when we arrived and it helped make my kids so much more comfortable and engaged. Definitely gave it a hometown feel!! We greatly appreciated the hospitality!!

Very relaxed. Staff friendly and helpful. Just wish they had regular cream for the coffee instead of vanilla flavored creamer. It's a little too sweet. I would recommend this restaurant. We went for breakfast.
