There was a black dodge challenger parked in the handicap. There was only 1 handicap spot. I went in the establishment to order some food. I told the man at the register that there was a car parked in the handicap spot with no placard or plate. He said it was the owner. They were bringing stuff in. I said but I'm disabled and couldn't park there. Mind you now, they were already done. I asked him, don't you have a back door.??? He gave me a look of what do you want me to do?????. The world is full of companies that think they have something we need and it's take it or leave. We are all 1 situation from being jobless, homeless, sick, handicapped or worse. One day you might be handicapped and need to park closer to the door and the one spot you need taken by someone who thinks they are entitled to park where they've not supposed to. This is the last time I give my money to an establishment who the OWNER thinks he is entitled.

This is my first time there and I love the service. Didn't really have to wait long. The food is on point. I love it. I will be back when I come to town. Best soul food I have tasted from a soul food place.

Let me start out by saying these people were awesome the lady in the front the owner was back there cooking me and my coworker are lgbtq and felt welcomed ☺️ we are from Texas we ordered the catfish and the pork chops and let me tell you about this cornbread just because it's wrapped in Saran Wrap doesn't mean nothing the best cornbread I've had in my entire life we tried one while we were waiting for our food ended up buying four more they're great !!! The Kool-Aid spot on if you know how Kool-Aid supposed to taste that was it ,it's actually reasonably priced from other soul food places we were looking at good seasoning on the catfish and the pork chops the greens were good I wish they had bacon in them but that's a personal preference one more thing the mac and cheese was so good not a lot of people can get that down I feel like and it was spot on I know this is a long post but it was worth it take the drive to Honey J in my opinion I don't know the area it was a little sketch but get yourself down there and try these people's food!!! You won't be disappointed!!! REAL SOUL !!! IN THAT FOOD. 806 TEXAS

This place is fire! The sides are off the hook the catfish is delicious. I wish the catfish was a wet batter instead but it’s still delicious! Top tier soul food at a great flipping price too! One hundred percent will eat again!

I was trying to add some pictures of the food in here but once I took a bite, I forgot what I was doing. The Mac n cheese is honestly the best I’ve had in my life. Everything I had was not only good but delicious and it takes a lot for me to be so impressed that I leave a review.
