First time here today and I got lemon pepper wings, Mac n cheese, and yams. 10/10 recommend all 3! They were delicious!!!!!! However I must say I am super disappointed in the ranch. I’ll absolutely get take out again from here soon but I’ll grab my ranch somewhere else 🫣🤣

This place is The Truth! Absolutely top tier service, the food gave what needed to be given, and it was made immediately to order. I had the Fish and Shrimp plate with greens and Mac n' cheese along with fried cauliflower and okra on the side to share. And a Blackberry Sweet Tea and Carmel Cake with Sauce. Seafood fried to perfection. Greens seasoned with smoked turkey so you know it's real. Everything was flavorful, and how could I almost forget to mention the delicious cornbread. Salute to the chef and team because they did that!

Everything was great except I was missing the gravy for the mash I ordered. The chicken was nice and juicy inside and crunchy outside but I feel like it could have a bit of flavor. The Mac and cheese was the star. I’m not a fan of sweet cornbread but it was very moist and not half bad.

We were staying in Lexington to visit Noah's Ark and wanted some soul food. Googled and decided to give Honey J's a try. We were not disappointed at all. Hubby saw they served Koolaid and I was upset that I did not get it. Great experience and atmosphere.

This place was a 10/10. We had a very large order and the food was hot and fresh! The greens and yams were so good. Please remember to add the cake with Carmel sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, peach lemonade, sweet tea, kool-aid and dessert. When we visit Kentucky in the spring, we will be back.

I got the Double Bee Combo, it was delicious! Chicken was perfectly fried. Mac and cheese had a great cheese flavor. Collar Greens had a great savory flavor. If you get a drink, I recommend the “Peach Nectar” which is peach lemonade. Will definitely come back to this spot!

I got DoorDash and let me tell you it was amazing. Everything was hot and fresh, they were sweet and put an extra piece of cornbread in my meal. Their signature sauce was a lot better than I was expecting. I took a chance on this place and it definitely was not wasted. I will be going back!
