Stopped here on our road trip across the country and it was delicious! We were able to sit on the patio in the shade with our dogs as well. The beetloaf was delicious- would be better if it was a little more solid/chewy texture on edges, but still great.
Excellent local food with creative culinary inventions. The classic southern fare was executed well and the less expected combinations like harissa spiced mushrooms with whipped feta were the perfect accompaniment. Thea took excellent care of us and Casey is the consummate manager for a busy kitchen. The cocktails were tasty, and the wine was a perfect complement. All in all, a lovely meal.
Great food. Unfortunately, we must have come on a day that someone called in sick. The restaurant was not crowded , and it took almost 10 Miniard before she came the table. The waitress never did our drink orders, although she did bring waters. And service was super slow. We were there for a business lunch, and told the waitress that we had allotted for 1 1/2 hours. Evidently, that didn't register.
