I dont know why people rate this restaurant so good. From.my own experience with my friends, this place is the worst in Lexington. Let me say why. The food taste is poor, as I have tasted Indian cuisine before so I can evaluate. Second, the food amount is so less compared to the price. Anywhere you can get a full meal with the price that has to be paid for a single appetiser.

My daughter ordered Briyani from Canda to our house in Lexington for her brother’s birthday. She ordered other stuff beside Briyani. We couldn’t eat it because it was too salty. My family will not be going to buy from them again as when last time my son and me went there the quantity of Briyani was less. So we wanted to give them a try as suggested my daughter to order from them but not anymore. The quantity of meat were negligible too.

Excellent service and food. The owner was very helpful in explaining all the dishes to us and recommending dishes she thought we would like. We tried several new dishes we have never had before and it was a really great experience. We tried a couple different curries and biryanis. They were both so delicious. Our first time here and definitely not our last!

I ordered the chicken curry and my wife had the chicken saag. Both were very good. We also had the no name chicken appetizer. The waitress described it as more sweet than spicy, but it had a 2 out of 5 in spice, in my opinion. Atmosphere left a little to be desired with paper plates and bottled water, no fountain drinks available. Also, kids options are pretty limited. Overall the food was very good.

This was our first time trying Hyderabad House and we ordered delivery. We decided to go with our favorite dishes to compare with other restaurants in the area since this place is supposed to have regionally different cuisine/style than many of the other Indian restaurants in town. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Vindaloo, and some garlic naan and parotta.First, their idea of mild is significantly spicier than anywhere else. I’d give their mild a 3.5/5. And the medium a 4.25/5. Now, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing except on this day I was ordering specifically for an 11 year old who likes it mild mild. So it was a bummer for him, but the rest of us were okay.As far as taste goes, the dishes were slightly different but every bit as delicious. The breads didn’t travel well, being slightly cold and dry, with the parotta having gone flat and hard on the drive to our house. We will definitely eat here again, but we will dine-in next time.

We got the masala dosa, chicken biryani, and butter chicken with naan. Everything was very flavorful and well cooked. Will definitely be back soon!

Food is great. But atmosphere is awful. Fluorescent lights will give you a migraine. Food is served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Beverages are warm cans of soda, or warm bottled water. Service is minimal. Sadly, the food is so much better fresh, but you just want out of there. It’s a dilemma.

I saw some complaints about being served in disposable dishes. I'm so glad we ignored them and came anyway. Delicious food, friendly staff, fun robotic wait assistant. There were also food options I haven't yet seen at any other Indian place in town.We came on recommendation of a friend who lived in S. India who said this is the closest in town to the flavors they remember.
