Inebriated Baker has the BEST cupcakes everrr! They’re fun, vegan, beautiful, and taste amazing. I can never get enough, no matter how many I order. I rave about this place. The alcohol in these cupcakes and the cherry bring the perfect balance to the sweetness in the cupcakes. They offer several tasty treats and they always go out of their way to bring the best customer service to the table. Danielle is so sweet and generous. I can’t wait to come back in and order again.
Pick from the samples so you'll know what you like.
5 stars all around! Inebriated Baker is my most faaaavorite vegan dessert shop ever! I looove, love, love them and everyone i know who’s tried their cupcakes love them too. They always have immaculate customer service, deals, and hospitality. What a fun environment too! They’re kind enough to cater my wedding with cakes and cupcakes. I’m super duper grateful for all they’ve done, as they always go above and beyond. I’ll always support Inebriated Baker.
I'm visiting from out of state for a funeral. While googling businesses in the area looking for activities to do until the rest of the family arrived I found this business and was intrigued.
I initially went and spoke to the owner (Danielle) and taste tested a couple of flavors. I thought my family would enjoy this unique treat so I ordered a dozen minis for pick up the morning of the funeral. I was told since the store is closing they would throw in a standard size as well for me.
However the night I placed my order I learned that we had to be at the funeral location to set up an hour before the time I had scheduled for cupcake pick-up, so the next day I went and spoke to a different employee (Andi) about the situation and she said she could make them right then and I could pick it up in an hour. That is what I did. Both people I spoke with were great.
The minis were a total hit. Everyone loved them and commented on how delicious the cupcake was and wanted more!
I ate the standard size on my own at my hotel room and while the cupcake was good, I found the frosting much too rich and overpowering. The alcohol soaked cherry on top was great. The alcohol infused filling was tasty but also very rich. The cupcake itself was nice consistency and tasty.
I would absolutely order again, but only the minis. The storefront is closing but I saw online that they ship, so this might be a sweet little treat I'll order back home in the future!
Wonderful experience here and highly recommend.
*pictured is the standard size, everyone ate the minis before I could snap a pic!
While shopping in the Lexington Mall I went by this place and had to stop in. Got a couple cupcakes (old fashioned) and a Bourbon something... anyway it was promised that the alcohol was NOT cooked out. I had to show ID for age verification. The cherries on top will definitely make you feel good. I couldn't taste of tell there was any alcohol in the cupcakes. The cupcakes were good though! I'd recommend checking this place out. Fun concept.
A few hours ago my friends and I walked into this establishment with the intentions of purchasing a cupcake, and took our time looking at the flavors. As I only see my friends a few times a year, I made us silly “membership” cards (made out of construction paper and covered in stickers) that are the same size as an ID, and we jokingly took them out to show each other as if to use them in replacement of our real ID’s. As we were about to turn around to show the employee our legal ID’s, she claimed that I had two ID’s and couldn’t complete the transaction even after trying to explain the situation to her. I was very excited to try these cupcakes as it is my first time visiting Lexington, but am left with a bad impression after this interaction. The picture attached to this review is our “second ID”, I’m glad I made them convincing enough to seem legit!
This lady is amazing! Totally forgot her name. We were in from California and I had read about her shop weeks before going to Kentucky. I brought my cupcakes home for gifts and they totally made the flight and still taste amazing. GREAT customer service and delicious cupcakes. Totally try if you are in Lexington!!!

I was kinda excited to try these given that it was our first time trying boozy cupcakes. I was very let down. Although the concept is cool, the final product was not great. I was expecting something really different, in a good way, but the taste (too thick icing & flavor a bit too artificial & texture (jelly liquor inside) is a bit weird. Not my favorite. Hopefully they'll rethink their recipes? VERY nice customer service though.

The owner was amazing in helping me celebrate my son's 21st birthday! He is autistic and we struggle with milestones. This was a great way to make my son feel like his peers!

My first alcoholic cupcake ever and it was so delicious. You can sample a bunch before making a decision. Non-alcoholic ones are available as well. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable.

the owner is super nice!! i don’t remember the name of the flavor we got (maple bacon bourbon ball maybe?) but it was super good! i can’t wait to go back :)
Absolutely amazing food! Pasta Garage is extremely casual but the food is like one would expect from a fancy Italian restaurant with much higher prices. The restaurant is self service - you order at the counter and pick up the food yourself but don't let that deter you from going there. The pasta is homemade and sauces are fantastic. I ordered the lasagna and my husband ordered the braised chuck w/ gnocchi, peas & carrots in a cream sauce. Both meals were perfection.
