It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. We both had pasta dishes. Pasta had good flavor but was overcooked. Our server was fantastic.

We met for dinner before a game, so location was nice. Wine selection and service were great. We had some excellent calamari.

Loss of star for atmosphere and pasta. Both were alright but I’ll take Bella Notte over this place any day. Ambiance is cold and uninteresting. Pasta was not terrible but not something I’ll come back for.

Promptly seated. Server was attentive and very accommodating. Did not rush us. Food very good and served hot. Nice leisurely evening. Will return.

The food and service were both excellent. We discovered the Happy Hour specials that included several different 11-inch pizzas for $10 each.

We chose ItalX to celebrate a retirement, and overall the evening was highlighted by truly outstanding food, paired with some service gaps that were hard to ignore. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately for our reservation, which was a great start. The atmosphere was welcoming, and once the food arrived, it absolutely delivered. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The food was exceptional — easily the best part of the experience — and we couldn't have been happier with our meal. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite keep pace. After being seated, we waited about fifteen minutes before being asked for a drink order. My wine glass was later removed without anyone asking if I'd like another pour, and my water glass sat empty longer than is really acceptable in a fine-dining setting. In addition, I had noted in our OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating a retirement, but it was never acknowledged. While not required, it would have been a thoughtful touch for such a milestone occasion. All that said, the food alone makes ItalX well worth visiting. It was absolutely on point, and we'd happily return for the cuisine. With a bit more attentiveness to service details — especially drink service and reservation notes — this would be an exceptional, all-around dining experience.

I had the veal. Perfectly cooked. Great portion. My daughter had pasta. Very good as well. I had a margarita and a limoncello. Both strong & tasty. The atmosphere was very loud. Louder than you can have a comfortable conversation. The wait staff was cold and detached. Not personable at all. Overall a positive experience.

Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food! Bartender was amazing and made a custom cocktail for us that was delicious!

Italx has a great vibe. However, the food and service didn't meet our expectations. Our waiter couldn't explain wine options or the entrees which were in Italian. The food was average. Six of us were there for a celebration and left disappointed.

Was very disappointed in dinner tonight. We received two wrong drink orders to start. Then received a wrong soup and when corrected the replacement came out cold and unseasoned. One of the guests received an entire wrong protein for their main course and to end it we did not experience the birthday desert or candle arranged before hand. Very disappointed would not recommend.

Overall not a great experience. Food was mediocre with high prices. Ordered veal marsala received chicken. Waiter just shook his head and didn't offer to correct. Won't go back.

This is one of my wife's favorite places to eat. While it's been a bit since we've eaten at Frank and Dino's, I would put this up against any of Lexington's other Italian joints. The food is always on point, and quality of service is something that sticks out in our mind every time we leave.

We have been there many times, it was great! We were a party of 10. The waitress was very nice and even gave the 3 kids some pizza dough to play

Wow, simply wow. I’m impressed. I came hungry and curious. I’ve left more than satisfied. I tried several small dishes rather than the usual pasta panini and pizza. Don’t overlook these delicacies. The arancini have a crispy crust and a wonderfully gooey cheesy inside. They are seasoned well. Accompanied by a red and pesto sauce that pair well. The pesto was especially tasty and begs for a pasta dish with the same sauce. I also ordered the Matuffi Lucchese. The polenta is fantastic and the hearty wild mushroom ragu is seasoned to perfection. The butternut squash soup was light. It was the weakest dish and I feel lacked salt. The faina was the most surprising item and I am so glad I tried it. . This chickpea pancake was slightly crispy at the edges with a luscious center. Ignore the butter in the photo. It was offered with olive oil and I always prefer butter, but it did not need either. The cannoli were amazing. Whipped mascarpone was genius. I’ve often found ricotta heavy. These were very light. I must note. I am gluten intolerant and watch what I eat. The menu is very gluten free friendly with notations and substitution possibilities (including the cannoli shells made with almond flour). My server, Gustavo, was the best. He timed my dishes perfectly and accommodated all my requests graciously and efficiently. He was the cherry on the top of a memorable meal.
