First time here, on a Saturday night. Visiting from out of town. Ambience was great, but food was average and service was below average. Waitress was in a RUSH the entire time, did not engage us and we felt like we were being pushed to order and eat quickly. We'll try it again but hope for better.

Was told pasta is made fresh every day but did not taste fresh. I got a pasta that had pork on top and the pork had no flavor. Wouldn't order it again.

We always have a great experience every time we come to Italyx. It's quickly become our downtown favorite. I was a little surprised to see my side dinner salad was $12 which I thought was a bit pricey considering how small it was. I would expect to pay that for an entree salad. The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was hopping. We will be back!

I've been there several times while I've been in town and is normally excellent. This night was an off night for them food wise. Our server was excellent, friendly, attentive recommended a great wine.

We arrived early for our reservation - crazy, I know. We didn’t expect to be seated right away, just hoped to grab a drink at the bar and relax on the benches. By running this plan by the hostess with the leastest, you’d think I’d just critiqued her wrinkly, polyester blouse.
The host stand vibe was less “welcome to dinner” and more “how dare you exist.” No smiles, no effort, just a collective sigh that said, “you’re ruining our night by showing up for yours.” After a few moments of this frosty charm, we took the hint and left.
If you enjoy condescension with a side of hostility, you’ll feel right at home. Otherwise, plenty of places nearby will happily take your reservation - and your money - without the attitude.

We loved our visit to ItalX. The staff was exceptional and the dinner was very good. Our server provided me with 2 wine samples to make sure we would enjoy our bottle. We would definitely recommend them for a night out in Lexington.
This is the place to be! Great food, great wine list (even by the bottle) and when the weather's nice and the doors are open it's a wonderful environment. Great place for a night out, leave the kids at home - this is adult date time.
