I’m writing this about a month after I visited Lexington because I’m still thinking about the incredible dinner my cousins and I had at ItalX. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent. Such a beautiful restaurant too. Run, don’t walk!

I got the bolognese. The noodles were on the harder side and not fully cooked. Not authentic Italian food. Also got the gnocchi which was extremely soggy. Do not recommend unless you wanna pay a high price for poor quality food.

I was not impressed with the food. I barely ate half of what I ordered, and felt bloated after. I didn’t eat any appetizers and only had one drink. Service was excellent, prompt and professional. The dining area was nice except the door was left open prompting my party to fend off house flies our entire meal.

Bar was nice, good martini was served. Table for 2 was very nice and waitress Rachael was very very good and out service was excellent. My wife's Chicken Picanta was just ok. She thought the noodles were to much/too heavy and fettachini would have been better

Our evening began with a heartfelt and warm welcome by the maître D Christopher. He showed us to our seats per our reservation and when asked gave me his best recommendations for a wonderful meal. My wife and I heated his advice and were glad we did. The dishes were exquisite. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was energetic. 10 out of 10 recommend for a wonderful evening in downtown Lexington.
From start to finish the whole expierence was amazing. Not often we dine anywhere and not have disapointment in one area or another but ItalX has got everything down pat. Staff, drinks and food 5stars!

We were celebrating a friend's birthday. Host is professional and cordial. Michaela, our server, was perfect. Knows the menu, great with suggestions, friendly. The Montepulciano wine was very good. My friend chose the lasagna and loved it. I had the popular cacio e pepe. The focaccia is served as a boule, not flatbread, and was remarkable. Only downside is the noise level due to hard surfaces.
