Don't know why but the place has went down hill in recent weeks . Used to be a great spot but apparently the management has changed and it's all about corp. Greed won't be back

Nice clean restaurant. Service was great, nice, and courteous.
Food was all supar. Ribs were dry and flavorless. Shrimp tasted frozen and reheated. Omlette was bland. I heard they used to have great food. It's a shame.

Oooof. My group and I originally came to eat next door at Beau’s Cafe, but after seeing a 45 minute wait we decided to come next door. Now we understand why no one was here and everyone was next door.
There was no wait at J. renders and we were one of the first and only tables inside. There were seven of us and one child. The waitress was friendly enough, but struggled to meet our basic needs. I ordered an ice water multiple times and never recieved it. Another in our party ordered an espresso that took 15-20 minutes to arrive as we watched it sit on the counter for -9 minutes waiting to be delivered.
The food took over 40 minutes to be delivered. I ordered the Benedict which was sat at the table completely cold. Not even slightly warm. I had others at my table try it to confirm and we all agreed it was worth telling the staff about. After pointing it out to the waitress I did ask for it to be taken off the bill but told her we didn’t have time for a new one to be delivered. She didn’t take it off, but instead discounted it 20 percent.
The “poached egg” was a hard boiled egg on top of the Benedict that was also cold. (See photo) Everyone www very underwhelmed with their food, the wait, and the service. I could say many more things about the food, but you get it by now. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic place. Our waitress, Emery was a star, most personable. The food was amazing and very, very generous. Great combinations of taste. The brisket was so tender and flavourful, Brussels were sweet and crunchy.
Our first time in Kentucky so wanted to try a bourbon, the bar tender found just the right one for me.

Appears they recently added breakfast and it's a winner.
The brisket was excellent!
Friendly service added to appeal.

We waited longer than we should for order to be taken but one young lady took it upon herself to take our order. Our designated waitress ignored us but luckily you have someone who is a team player.

The meat, cornbread, and green beans were fantastic. But criminally, they served Busch's baked beans for my side of beans. I've been eating Bush's all my life and it was the exact same taste and texture straight out of the can which was surprising and very disappointing. The fries were also cold, soggy, and tasteless. We picked up our food around 8 PM on a Saturday night. Surely at that time there were still able to serve hot and yummy food as there were plenty of diners still inside. Not sure if we'll be back anytime soon because 1/3 of the food was inedible for a high price.

I had the sampler (pulled pork, brisket, sausage, ribs) with mac and fries. The BBQ wasn't bad it just wasn't great. It did not have a wood pit flavor, and i felt like it had been either finished in the oven or kept in a warmer too long. The ribs were not bite thru, but I know some people like meat shreading off the bone. The sauces on the table were watery but had good flavor. The place was clean and the food came out quick. The servers were really helpful. My son had a Mac and cheese with pulled meat (chicken) grilled cheese that he loved. With that said the prices for the amount of food I got and the style of BBQ it was were appropriate. 6.8/10

Absolutely delicious. Amazing menu. Wonderful atmosphere. The service was impressive. Drinks were 10/10. 2 adults 1 platter 2 extra sides plus drinks under $75, can't beat that anywhere. Definitely recommend and we will absolutely be back!

Brisket was super dry. Thought I was eating jerky. Potato salad was not loaded (potatoes, mayo and sour cream). I personally would add green onions and smoked bacon. Their idea of sausage was a hot link. Jalapeños corn bread was decent. Sweet tea was ok. Mashed potatoes were ok. Then again I am from Texas.

People were very nice and polite. Food was very good. Had No Balls Balls. And sampler with pulled pork and 1/4 chicken and smoked sausage. All was good but the chicken was out standing.
