We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at J. Render’s Speakeasy. The service, food, and environment were excellent. Gwyn was extremely easy to communicate with in the days leading up to the event and we could not be happier with how everything turned out.

I got the pulled pork and the sausage platter..green beans, fries and jalapeno cornbread.....the pulled pork was more fat than meat...since I had the pretzel appetizer I was too full to be overly concerned..

Katy's discreet and attentive service ensured all our needs were met without overshadowing the solemnity of the event. Her sensitivity and grace were truly appreciated. The drinks, scotch toast, A/V capabilities, music, and overall hospitality contributed to an impeccable and comforting experience for all. First time visiting even though we live nearby. Saw the smoked wings recommended on Reddit and thought we’d go for a late lunch. My husband and I shared wings and pork nachos and everything was excellent. The only thing better than the food was our server, Eric. He knew just how to keep the glasses full and make recommendations, but also allow us our own time and space.I loved that the sauce was at the tables so we could dose as we desired. The atmosphere was relaxing and the music was at a comfortable level. Some places play the music as a feature and that can be overwhelming for me. J Renders was a home run!
