The Newton Center way location in Lexington has to be the slowest Jimmy John’s. Been here numerous times and generally have to wait 10+ minutes every time. Doesn’t matter if I go inside or drive through.

Slowest Jimmy John’s I’ve ever been to. Spent 20 mins in the drive thru with one car in front of me that received 1 bag and 1 drink.

I really appreciate the staff knowing the protocol for a gluten sensitivity: changed gloves, put down extra paper, and didn’t use the utensils they use on the bread. Great job! And so thankful!

food gets one star because we didn’t even order food. this is the 2nd time we’ve had huge issues with this store specifically. first time: highly pregnant, craving jimmy johns, line was long but we were there approx 20 minutes before close. well, closing time hit and they told everyone to get out, they weren’t making anymore sandwiches when they were TAKING THEIR TIME with making a full store worth of sandwiches. i’ve worked in restaurants, there was enough time, they just didn’t want to. now they’re playing not “business friendly” music. people walking in with kids. we asked if they had another station they could put on, they go to the back, turn it off, then turn it back on and no one moved to change the station at all. the staff laughed at the request to change the music, and then laughed even more when it came back on. such an unprofessional group of people. we aren’t saints but that song was over the top for a 12 year old to be listening to. turned around, walked out, and ate at a super friendly and wholesome place next door! try the burrito place, you won’t regret it! ps. not prego, but definitely was craving some jimmy john’s. super disappointed.

I came in today excited to try the new toasted subs. The cashier let me know it was an app only deal so I created a new account and got on the app and when I tried to order, it said that I had already used the promo code which would of course be impossible. A district manager happened to be there and he let me know that it's probably because I'm a new user and that's why I can't use the promo. Pretty sure the whole purpose of the promo is to get new people on the app and get people in the stores trying the new sandwiches. Disappointing lack of response from a district manager. I will not return to Jimmy Johns because of this interaction.

Ordered the veggie sub as I always do, and asked to have provolone AND their new smoked cheddar on it. Was told they’re not allowed to put the smoked cheddar on it because that’s only for their new bourbon bbq sandwiches….wtf. You aren’t allowed to add a different type of cheese to a sandwich at a sandwich shop!? Damn things are already $8-$10 bucks a piece for the small ones. I should be able to add whatever I want if I’m paying for it!

I see there has been some not so good reviews in the past but today, I had the best experience here and an amazing sandwich! They were super nice and super friendly and an amazing jalapeño chicken wrap! Ill definitely be back!
