Joella’s Hot Chicken - Hamburg

This was my first time coming here. When the cashier found out it was our first time, he was really nice about describing all the different items. Customer service was great all the way around. The food was also really good! I ordered 5 grilled tenders with a side of kale crunch salad. You can order various sauces and I got the ghost pepper sauce. It was spicy but not neat as bad as I imagined. Probably not much worse than Tabasco tbh. The chicken tastes fresh, not frozen. I'm quite certain I'll be back.

Start by saying the food was great! Overpriced!!!!!!! The tweener tastes like Nashville hot chicken. The regular chicken tenders were like any other quality tender. The parmesan fries were very good. They are basted with garlic oil. Kale salad had a lot of lemon flavor but was refreshing paired with the hot chicken. Mac n cheese was very good. Sides are small portions and you only get one side per meal. We added an extra side each. I would eat there often if the prices were more reasonable.

Food was a banger! TBH the wings are better than the strips. The strips the need to figure out a better batter system because my tenders never come out fully covers and breaded.

My wings were good but they did take off the huge wings.

Ella’s fav is that flavor, hot is really good for the wings.

Went in on a Thursday afternoon a week or so ago. The tall guy with black hair (dont know his name as he didnt tell us) who greeted us was very rude. He must have been a manager as he had a different shirt on than others. He had an attitude and basically made me and my husband feel dumb. He needs to be fired. First time I've seen him and I've been coming to this location since it opened. Will go to the Cochran location from now on because of him.

The chicken was not good. I had more gristle in it than I would ever care to eat and it was dry and bland. Overall not great and I'm not sure if I went on an off day or if what I had was the average experience but I won't be back.

Amazing chicken tenders! Not heavily breaded, juicy and Ella’s fav had the perfect amount of a little heat. We need this in Canada!

This location is hit or miss every single time. Doesn't compare to the middletown location near Louisville, which is always good.

Hot chicken done right. I always get chicken and waffles and the waffles are usually cold but yummy enough. The chicken tenders are to die for however.

It's got your above average Nashville chicken but beware the sauces can be hotter than you would think and I suggest sampling before u commit
