Now this is how an Acai bowl should be done! 🙌 I ordered through DoorDash for the first time and was immediately impressed by the generous 16 oz bowl, it actually looked and felt like a full meal. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

I’ve tried a bunch of other spots before, but most only offer one tiny size that leaves me still hungry. Not this place! Finally, an Acai bowl that’s as satisfying as it is delicious. Definitely my new go-to. 💜🍓🍌

Jump Start Smoothies in Lexington, Kentucky, is one of my favorite local places. The environment is colorful, welcoming, and full of cheerful energy from the moment you walk in. The colorful decor and uplifting music create a joyful atmosphere that instantly enhances your attitude. Whether I’m craving a refreshing smoothie or an acai bowl, I know I’ll get something both scrumptious and nourishing. On lovely days, I love sitting outside to enjoy the fresh air while catching up on schoolwork, but the relaxing indoor seating makes it comfortable to stay productive no matter the weather. The staff is consistently friendly and fast to make suggestions based on what I enjoy. It’s also an excellent spot for gym-goers who watch their protein intake and sustain beneficial eating habits. General, Jump Start Smoothies is a fantastic combination of convenience, community, and fitness—a go-to spot for college students and anyone aiming for a feel-good refresh.

Recently I visited Jump Start Smoothies and was very impressed with their customer service and products! I have visited Jump Start a few times but this time I introduced two of my friends and they also enjoyed it! The inside is very organized, and the menu is easy to read/understand. I got a mango smoothie, one of my friends got a strawberry smoothie, and the other got an acai bowl. All of us enjoyed our orders and they were all priced well. This location is a short walk from our dorm hall (probably 5-10ish minutes), so it was nice to have easy access to a sweet treat! Inside there are a few tables for seating but they also have outdoor seating which is perfect for the nice weather. It appears that they also serve coffee at a coffee bar type of thing. They also have a small cooler with Gatorades and a shelf that serves as a chip display. Baked goods are also displayed in a case at the front and although we did not purchase any, they looked very good! One of my friends took advantage of the mobile ordering system whereas the rest of us ordered up front. The staff got our orders out quickly and were super nice. I will be back!

At this point I've been here at least 2~3 times per week and everytime I come here the food is on point. Unfortunately I will be leaving lexington soon and it's a shame I cant eat at this place anymore 😕.

Bomb joint. They do not waste their products. Other competitors don’t know how to portion their smoothies, leaving plenty in the blender after you’ve received your one size only cup. This place has mastered the art of precision of ingredients to the point that I consistently receive my cup full, with the blender being empty about 3/4 way up the dome lid, which I assume is true for all sizes though I’ve only ever gotten the large. The employees are genuine, and the atmosphere is suitable for any person. The bowls are always as aesthetically pleasing as any of their photos. The rewards program is helpful, making roughly 1/7 bowls free in my experience-plus birthday bonuses. I can only finish a whole large bowl when I’m very hungry. The honey is high quality, as are all of their ingredients. The place is always clean. The employees are authentic and friendly. The seating is such that you could choose to either have a private conversation or potentially make a new friend. They don’t have a chess board, which is my only complaint.
