the authenticity and flavors in this restaurants food is magnificent! you're going to enjoy a wonderful meal with many flavors that are so different than that of so many american meals....and it is a DELIGHT! you walk in, order from a picture menu, (if you ask for hints, they ask you some questions to help you get the best answers), wait a minute or two, and boom. you get your food. grilled items are grilled to order. no warmed up food. they have a bit of the mediterranean experience as in no extra chit chat but, that is more than forgotten by the large portions of wonderfully flavored food. i suggested this place to some "country boy" co-workers and now they love it. try it. a great food adventure awaits!

Talk about the best Mediterranean meal ever. The service was outstanding, portions were a delight and plentiful and the food was I would say some of the best food I have had for a long time. I was surprised about some of the negative reviews about Covid restrictions. They were all sensitive to the needs of the customers. I am so grateful for the excellent service and great food I had at Mr. Kebab. Hassan is a perfect host to serve a meal that is memorable and you will have great memories for a long time. I took the left overs home and gave it to my family for supper and they also raved about how good the food was. All I can say is “Bon appétit!”

This a a COVID nightmare. No one are wearing masks even though it is the current regulation in our town. The workers are talking over your food with no face coverings what so ever. The food is always good but the wait is usually very long to receive your food. I won't be returning until the COVID nightmare is over

This was our 3rd visit to Mr. Kebab, and will likely be our last. Our previous visits were very good to excellent, but it appears that things have gone downhill recently. First off, we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our food. It was an early dinner visit and the place was not busy at all, but the young man cooking seemed pre-occupied with talking to one guy at the counter. When our kebabs arrived, they (both mine and my wife's) were absolutely charred and dried out. Only part of it was edible, and the only reason I did not send it back was because we could not wait any longer. It had to be obvious to both the cook and server, that the kebabs were burnt, yet they did nothing. Ended up throwing half of our meals in the trash.

I was under the impression this business was called "Mr. Kabob" but regardless of its name the food is amazing. The shawarma here is by far the best in lexington, and having recently converted to vegetarianism, i order a falafel sandwich everytime im in the neighborhood(and a second for the following days lunch). As far as economy, the portions to cost ratio here is perfect. I wish i still lived in the neihhborhood.

First time to visit Mr. Kabab. Despite the misspelling in the TripAdvisor listing (I think Mediterranean is the correct spelling) there were no villains found here. I had the gyro platter with extra meat and taboule, and both the quality of the food and the portion exceeded my expectations. My wife had the spicy chicken, which came with a spicy portion of rice and a salad. Overall, I thought the food was tasty and well-prepared. Sure, you're served on plastic plates and must retrieve your plates when your order is ready, but it is fast and fresh, as advertised. They have a "lunch all day" offering for $8.95 which I assume is just a smaller portion of the standard offerings. We will go back.

I love the food here and over the years have tried different things on the menu when I come to Lexington, KY. My favourite is the shawarma platter with chicken beef mix. The lentil soup is also really delicious as well as the baklava. The food is freshly made and I always take away a large pot of hummus and a pot of babaganoush. Well worth eating here for healthy eating. Prices very fair and the quality is always excellent. Bon appétit!

This was my first - and last - time to Mr. Kabab. The pita bread was stale and the service was awful. There was one cook and one cashier. That's it. When the food was ready we had to go up to the counter to get it. I got a falafel platter with a side of tomato and tahini salad. The food was ok, and the portions were good, but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. There are other Mediterranean options in Lexington.

This was our 1st experience for gyros at Mr Kabob and it did not disappoint! Great amount of meat and tzasiki sauce, which taste amazing! Now that we've moved here we really love visiting! I always have to have an ice cold Ale 8 1 with it!

What in the world does it take to get an employee serving your food to smile and say "enjoy your lunch"?? The girl that takes orders, takes money and then brings your food on a tray is just...well...dull, depressed, miserable, mad, overworked, silent, and all kinds of rude. She brought me my tray of food without one word, without a smile, just a blank look on her face. She set the tray down on the table and I said "Thank you!" and she walked away without saying one word!! Wow!! Girl, if you can't make eye contact, speak, or smile, then you should not be working with the public. You need to be working in a factory or something. Or maybe learn to do the cook's job so you don't have to come into contact with people.

While I was on a trip through KY my wife and I decided to have some mediterranean food so by checking tripadvisor it was among the best so we wanted to give it a try. There are a few photos that i uploaded along with this review so you can check the menu, specials, and the food. The place from the outside looks small but it's pretty nice inside, food looks and tastes fresh and clean. We didn't go to the specials and instead we ordered one lamb and beef sandwich (looks more like a big burrito), grape leaves and tabouli and all of these tasted great. Unfortunately they ran out of falafels but we had some baklavas for dessert. Everything for 20 dlls! The only thing i didn't enjoyed so much was the baklava cuz the syrup was not very liquid. However I must say you have to try this place.
