We had dinner here the first night we arrived. I realize CoVid has impacted all but was surprised and disappointed at the layout of the restaurant/bar. Service was superb. Drinks were stout and delicious. We had the special recipe stew (delicious!) and we shared a pulled pork sandwich which we split (superb!) and a Cobb salad which was fresh & delicious. Generous servings and really quick and wonderful service!

Had high expectations that died with tradition ordered a hot brown have eaten there for decades before new management this was the best something to look forward to but not any more my waiter was great and the tomato bisque was great only surprise was the hot brown sliced processed turkey on toasted bread with the blandest sauce i ever tried sorry but this place has changed too much for me and for the worse thank you

Service was great!! They remembered my drink order from the 1st night which shows attention to detail. Burger is good, Puffs are amazing. New concept will be incredible once completed.

I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. To start, the entire facility is being refurbished and everything is in disarray. There are currently only a handful of tables in the restaurant. The plans looks very exciting and I understand it should be open in a couple of months. Back to the food... The Hot Brown was excellent and the Berkshire Pork Chop was really good with apples, fingerling potatoes and a pickled cabbage dish. The menu is somewhat small, but everyone around us seemed to be commenting on the high quality of the food.

The Campbell House is going through a renovation and you can see how beautiful it will be. Even with the renovations, the staff was outstanding and attentive. The food was great as well. Our table had the pork and the Steak Frites and we were extremely happy with our meal. Looking forward to the new concept this summer!

The hush puppy push's were such a delicious appetizer option!! It's different than what you would normally order but it was such a surprising combination of a pancake and a funnel cake. It had several sauces that went along with it and there was plenty for a table of 4! I also liked the variety on the menu; they had small plate options as well as larger entrees. I got the chorizo burger with fries. I am a fries girl at heart and thoroughly enjoyed the Parmesan cheese and texture! My fiancée got the hot brown (Kentucky classic) and completely cleaned his plate. So I'd say he enjoyed it. To top off the evening, we had coffee creme brûlée. It was perfectly cooked and plenty for 4 to split. My one criticism was the ambiance which sounds like it will be changing in the future. They were currently renovating the restaurant and have a new bourbon bar coming soon!

No atmosphere at all, no bar, no Tito's, no Cointreau, no music, no taste, no Buffalo Trace, no Woodford Reserve and less that friendly service, when they came by at all.

I ate breakfast here three times. The buffet is definitely adequate and will fill you up. But the food is on the plain side, nothing to write home about. Surroundings are attractive though.

I really liked their bourbon selection and was pleasantly surprised by the wine that they offered. The restaurant/bar met my expectations of a hotel bar. Service was good and everyone was helpful. I would recommend the burger. It was good. I would stop by again.

Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet! Great food selection with good coffee and comfortable surroundings for talking and relaxing in style. Nice place.

We went to kilberns for Mother's Day and had a wonderful meal. Lots of great options and the food was wonderful. The new chef is doing great things at the hotel. I would recommend it to anyone for dinner or an event! Thanks for making our Mother's Day a memorable one!

This location went through a renovation recently. The quality of the food was was adequate. What concerns us is of the 7ish dishes on the entree menu, 3 or 4 meals were not available on a Friday night. We have eaten here for many years and, as a southern restaurant,Kilbourne's has missed thd mark this go round ( no disrespect intended.) But they just completed hey renovation or the restaurant. The biggest thing missing is the breakfast brunch Buffett and the Sunday brunch buffet. Changing tradition to save a couple dollars is not always the best thing to do since is located in a very traditional area.of Krntucky. On the bar side, they have one of the best bourbon selections in Central Kentucky. I must say that because everything seems to be in in stock and available from the extensive bourbon menu, everyone should enjoy the bands at Bogart's on the weekends too. Make sure to see the bands on the in addition, you will never find a better bartender more awesome bad Becky, while in Central Kentucky. If you are in the area please take the time and meet Becky. Yes she is a lovley young lady, but more importantly, she is a professional!!

We went there and it was closed for Renovations - the hotel is a dump and the other place to eat was closing for lunch at 2 pm - completely inexcusable and someone could have let us know Really disappointed and waste of my day

Restaurant no longer check Open Table for reservations (per the hostess) and had no record of our table. The buffet looked as if it had been scavenged through by 7:30p and the hot food options were very limited and of less than average quality. There were no baked potatoes (the only potato option) for 1 1/2 hours. The carvery meat was also over cooked.

We made a reservation on OpenTable and received an email with a res. number. When we arrived, they had no reservation for us and were unprepared. They had one table of 14 and only one cook. They told us we would have to wait 40 minutes before getting any appetizers, and we had children!!! Ugh!!! Very frustrating. We went across the street to Logan's Roadhouse and they earned $300. Based on that, I gave it a one star rating.
