I was at the Boston Rd. Kroger recently and as I was checking out, the young cashier said, "Thanks, Bud." I realize this isn't a big deal for some people but it's one of my biggest pet peeves. I had hoped to help teach the young man about manners and customer service by telling him my name was not Bud. He looked me right in the eye and said, "Thanks, Pal." Very snarky this time. The situation deteriorated from there. As I continued to explain to him that referring to customers as Bud, Pal, etc. was rude, he started shouting at me to, "enter my pin number, take my stuff and get out of the store."My guess is Kroger never really trains its checkers on how to deal with the public. They're probably happy to just have a warm body to fill the spot. I am very excited about the prospect of a Publix coming to Palomar. I'm there all the time when I'm in FL and never had an experience remotely as bad as this in one of their stores.

I shop frequently to the Kroger's on Boston rd because it's convenient and the Staff is so nice and professional however, it's the worse Kroger's I've ever been to due to its uncleanliness!! The floors need to be replaced in the entire store. Deli and Bakery needs a complete remodel. No, I don't recommend this Kroger's. I've been driving extra miles to either go to the lovely Walmart Marketplace or all the other lovely Kroger's. Please do something to improve the local Kroger's on Boston rd they deserve it, don't just remodel resets do the entire store with a complete remodel so it can be enjoyable with a great shopping experience like I enjoy with all the other Kroger stores and I'll come back come bThank you.

I was driving home on MoW and decided to stop at this Kroger. I needed a few things, and it was an easy stop. I had never been to this Kroger and noticed the layout was different. I was in and out in minutes, so I can't speak much for the store as a whole. They do have a spirits store adjacent. That's all I've got. 18

Big Shout Out to Kroger! While this may go for all Kroger stores now, I'm adding the review to the one where we shop. Whether this is a new thing or not that they have implemented, I do not know. But I just found out about it and I'm so happy with the news that I wanted to share with all of you! Everyone knows we should be eating healthy. Everyone also know that in today's culture that isn't always easy. Even when you determine to make better choices, it can all be overwhelming - trying to wade through labels with words you can't pronounce to figure out the answer to the basic question - is this healthy? Because we all know how sneaky food labels can be -- they sometimes advertise in bold... "Low Fat" on something that has a lot of carbs... or Vice versa... and then there's the sodium content and all those pesky preservatives and dyes to watch out for. Do you know how many different words there are to just actually mean "sugar" as an ingredient? Neither do I - but it's a lot. So unless you can afford one of those specific mail to your door meal system weight management programs that celebrities advertise on tv - you're kinda on your own to navigate these tricky nutritional waters. Except now you're not. See, Kroger has this system that has taken a lot of the scientific research out of grocery shopping and has made it a lot more fail safe when you're trying to make healthier choices. Kroger uses "Opt Up" - a numeric system developed by dieticians who have analyzed the labels for you and based on everything - good fat content vs bad fats, empty calories or nutritionally dense, etc. - the Kroger dietitians have assigned a numeric value to many of their products in their stores. The way it works is that the higher the assigned number to any one product - the healthier it is for you. No guesswork. They recommend choosing options with opt up scores of 70 or above but so long as you keep your average where you want it - you can feel good about the nutritional choices you're making. It's been a game changer for me already. I can use the Kroger app to make my list based on the opt up scores. Without counting anything, or reading any labels, I can know that I'm improving my diet and that makes me and my doctors happy. Try it. I think you'll like it too!

This store is in need of new management. Sale items are never in stock. Few choices. No drive through pharmacy. I've shopped here a year because of the location to my home. Nothing has changed. I will start going elsewhere to shop.

This is not my local Kroger, but this one is conveniently located to shops I frequent. The layout is a bit different from my neighborhood Kroger, but not to difficult to figure out. They have some of the same amazing offerings and on this trip I decided that I would take a look at the sushi. However, I chickened out and didn't try the offerings...Maybe next time in the near future.

Props to Boston Rd Kroger Pharmacy... A very nice "Girl" instead of having me drive to the pharmacy for curbside pick-up she is actually going to bring me my inhaler & some pedialyte...

Better customer service. Or ANY would be a start.

This is my neighborhood Kroger. It has great food. The deli is great. I also love the bakery. I find everything I need here. Most of the staff are super friendly. However, some of the employees, specifically, some of the older female employees, can be very unfriendly and I've only noticed them being unfriendly towards minorities. That one flaw makes some visits here very unpleasant.

My all-time favorite kroger in the Lexington area. Located in a perfect location across from Starbucks and a gas station. They are always extremely nice and very helpful if needed. The store is always well stocked on all items and I go there around 3-4 times a week. I have never gotten anything expired or rotten from the store. Their deli and seafood sections are BOMB. Horseradish cheese is the best and their shrimp are very affordable and always fresh.

The grocery store is five star. The deli is one star. I have shopped here for years and like the store and the worker's helpfulness. The product selection is good and prices ok. The thing that made me write the review was an attempt to buy fried chicken for a Saturday picnic. I wanted 45 pieces and was in the store at 3:30 pm on a Friday to tell them I wished to order the 45 pieces and pick them up at 10:30 or as late as 11 am Saturday. The prospect of the work must have horrified the employee. I was told such orders needed to be placed 24 hours in advance. They refused an order that was 19.5 to 20 hours in advance. Discouraged and frightened the picnic was to be a meatless disaster, I drove to Meier Deli, to find the order readily accepted. If I need to plan picnics and other events in the future, I won't use Kroger Deli.

This is a Neighborhood kroger . The employees are amazing and super friendly and helpful . Although this krogers has significantly less products to pick from than some of the other locations it is still a nice store. They also have a wine and sprits store .
