Food was absolutely amazing. Got 3 macarons, and they blew me away! The decor is very nice, and casual. It looks like one of those places you'd see in a movie, and I want to go back here again!

Good selection. Almond croissant was good, pistachio croissant not so much, the filling was basically pure granulated sugar mixed with pistachios.
My partner and I went in for coffee and a snack and the first thing I noticed was the absolutely heavenly smell! He got the cold brew, which is from Leestown Coffee (incredible) and I got the seasonal Maple Oat Latte. It was perfect for pairing with the cheesecake because it had a nice, light flavor and wasn't overly sweet like most fall lattes are. The server, Jessi, was the best part of our visit though. She has great suggestions with descriptive answers to any question I had. She knew how to describe the flavor profiles of each treat and was so helpful that I had to double back after I left jus to get her name so I could write this review.

I was in town visiting and looking for some authentic French/European Bakery and found this upon searching. This is an eclectic albeit oddly set up bakery/cafe. I ordered a cappuccino, a pistachio tart and 3 macarons. Let's start in that order. The Cappuccino was mediocre at best. Tasted like ratios were a bit off with more steamed milk and less foam than should have been. It was served in a coffee mug with no saucer and no foam art, so presentation lacked. The Pain Au Chocolate was served warm. It was light and flaky, had great texture and the chocolate inside was delicious and perfect ratio. Wish the dough had a bit more butter flavor. I tried one macacron (Dubai Chocolate) out of the 3 I purchased. Texture leaned on the more soft side. It was moist and had a nice chew and the filling was not overly sweet. I did not eat the pistachio tart while I was at the bakery but will update this when I do. The upstairs is cute with mismatch furniture and overlooks the bakery production. Main level feels a bit more astringent with white walls and minimal decor. Overall I would comeback. Photos are of the upstairs. UPDATE*** pistachio tart was delicious but my favorite was the guava macaron...so good

I ordered an expensive chocolate multi layer cake for my gal’s birthday (and added a 20% tip since I wanted it done right). The cake was available at my pickup time, and we had the cake that evening. The cake looked wonderful and the macarons on top tasted good. However, the cake itself was not moist, was dense, had very little flavor, and the buttercream frosting had the flavor of lard. We decided after one slice to throw away the rest. My gal jokingly said, “order at Walmart next time.”

La Petite Delicat catered the desserts for our wedding in October 2023 including a macaron tower, fruit tarts, mini pies and cheesecakes and we could not have been more delighted! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and not only are their dessert visually stunning but they taste even better! The texture of the macarons is simply perfect- chewy with a light and crisp shell. My husband and I return at least every 6 months as a little celebration of our marriage. We have made La Petite Delicat a tradition and reason to celebrate within our little family and I hope you stop in to try some of their amazing treats. Each time it’s even better than I remember and I’m never disappointed.

The only place for the best macaroons in Lexington. Their seating areas for a leisure coffee and pastry with a friend are perfect. You can't miss visiting this wonderful place.

Hard to find & hard to park at. A variety of baked goods, mostly pastel-colored tiny, very sweet cakes - special names. Place is very small & has the feel of hole in the wall. No inexpensive - for sure, a single life event. Bon apetit mes amies.... for sure, my French is much forgotten.... oui oui wanna be

Very bad experience! Owner is rude and grumpy however the staff were friendly. As someone who is French ans lived in Paris, these are the worst macarons I’ve ever had: tasteless, very thick, no fluffiness nor crunchiness. I have tasted 6 flavors they all taste the same: butter and sugar.
When asked if they made wedding cakes, they said NO although all their social media pages show cakes !
And to top it all off the name of the place is a huge grammatical error in the french language “la petite délicat” means nothing, it’s either “le petit délicat” or “la petite délicatesse” and there is nothing called “pain au suisse”! Saying these words to someone French is an insult to them.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
