If I was on death row I would get this food for my last meal. The huitlacoche is amazing, rich, and flavorful. Everything down to the corn tortillas are juicy and fresh. This food's so good it got me pregnant. This food got me feeling like the critic from ratatouille. This food send me to flavortown. Highly

Took the family here today and absolutely loved the tacos!On Tuesdays they have a Taco Tuesday special: whichever taco they choose that day, they sell for $.99 each . These are “Street tacos”, so they are made on the small corn tortillas.Their regular tacos are generally sky filled with meat (I had the Pastor, the rest of my family ordered carne asada- and there was plenty).I also enjoyed their Horchata - pronounce “or-chata” (sweet, common-vanilla flavored rice drink)

Loved this place. Visited for the first time for a friend's birthday and the food and service were amazing! The veggie tacos are soooooooo good. I normally hate bell peppers but the bell peppers in the veggie tacos here actually make me want to eat them and enjoy them. So sweet, juicy, and smoky. All the other items we got were also very tasty. Definitely making this one of my top Mexican places in Lex.Kid-friendliness: We had a 4 year old with us in our group and there were several kid's menu items available which was great.

This is my new favorite Mexican place. They really stand out from the competition. My first visit I got the Nachos Taquiza with chorizo and it was enormous! All of the ingredients were just on a higher level than other places. From the pickled onions to the guacamole, they are different and better and everything is very fresh! The true highlight of the visit was their salsa bar. I couldn't decide which of their salsas was my favorite because they were all so good. I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Let's just start with the fact that this place is amazing in general. Nobody is perfect. I am a huge fan of offal cuts, and they have them. They ( usually ) do them right. I've only been let down a couple of times out of the 10-ish times I've been. Sometimes the Tripas are not perfect, but that goes for other places too. Still good though. There's all sorts of crazy good things coming out of this TINY place. The staff is definitely overwhelmed at times. I get it. It's busy for a reason and there's not much room to fill the online orders on top of the small line to get in. Basically everything is solid. The salsa ( self serve ) is LEGIT. Bright colors and balanced flavors. Expect to pay up for things you'd normally get for free like chips and salsa. That's ok. It's all really good and I'd rather pay a few bucks to have something that's tastier than your regular, huge sit down joint. If you're not a super demanding person and don't mind getting up and grabbing your own salsa etc, definitely come here. Not the place to be lazy. Just go up and ask for things. No problem. Great location! Could not be more perfect .

This appears to be the original location. A small store front with a handful of tables. They do have tables outside as well though. I gave it 3 stars on atmosphere bc their other location on main has such great atmosphere.Despite the decor, the food remains fantastic and what I still feel is the best tacos and Mexican food in town. You might have to take it to go, but it’ll be super delicious wherever you decide to eat it.Wheelchair accessibility: I’d say it’s not wheelchair accessible. It’s very small on the inside with booth tables on one side and two person tables on the other side. There’s barely room for a single file line. I can’t imagine trying to take a wheelchair in there.

This is REAL mexican food. Quesabirria tacos are outstanding. This is one of the few spots in Lex that sell taquitos/rolled tacos, I substituted chicken for barbacoa - highly recommend. If you want ground beef and fake tacos this place is NOT for you. Very small, only a few tables, good service.
