Found it looking for desserts, and will be back to have dinner. The beignets are the bee's knees! The accompanying Raspberry Buttermilk dipping sauce was ridiculously tasty. Add the NoLA Iced Coffee and hot dawg you have a great dessert. The atmosphere is as delightful as the desserts. The staff energetic and lovely too. All in all a wonderful little place to have a date night!

First time visiting and it lived up to the hype. It's a great place for a date night. Super charming interior. Staff was excellent. Chef is very talented! Meals were beautiful and tasted even betwr than they looked! There was a rude customer while we were there and the staff handled her with class. Can't wait to go for brunch!

Not a restaurant...it's an experience! Was visiting Lexington from Las Vegas. We had the trifecta of reviewing, my grandparents are French (from France), my friends lived in New Orleans, and my wife and I are from Vegas (culinary and hospitality capital of the world). Have eaten at many fine dining establishments, but did not expect the quality, presentation, and hospitality to be way above outstanding! The restaurant is quaint, full of vintage pieces that make the home into a lovely restaurant. If you been to New Orleans, you have seen similar setups of how the restaurant was laid out. The waiter (sorry I forgot your name), he went above and beyond what I would have expected. His enthusiasm and personality made the hospitality experience wonderful. He was very helpful and accommodation with my little toddler (4 yr old). We were quickly seated and continuously checked on with service.I wish I took more pictures, but the only picture I posted does not even come close to the look, smell, and taste. Everything we ordered was amazing, the filet, shrimp and grits, gumbo soup, chicken pasta, fried green tomatoes, and the dessert. When our entrees came out, Chef Kelly came out to greet us and welcomed us to the restaurant. It is rare to meet the person who personally prepared your food, let alone the actual chef. To put a face with the food that was created was perfect. All of us, raved on how good the food was. You know something was unbelievably good when you are still talking about it on the plane ride the next day. Highly recommend and wish this restaurant was in Vegas!

Listen to me when I say: this is a gem. I don't know how we've missed it, just a few miles from home. Every bite was incredible. He had the bone-in catfish special, I had filet. We also had the wontons, the bbq shrimp and gumbo. We've eaten in a dozen old cities, and this was on par with the best food we've eaten in those places. Savannah, Charleston, New Orleans, Key West. The service was also fantastic. The courtyard in back is a work in progress, but we enjoyed the old city feel. Chef K, well done and please stay forever.

Cajun Creole cuisine in a shabby-chic pre-Civil War cottage. Over two visits we enjoyed salmon escalopes with Crystal (hot sauce) beurre blanc, flawless fried green tomatoes, corn pudding, and asparagus; well-executed shrimp and grits; and a toothsome beef tenderloin steak, Marchand de vin sauce, caramelized seared Brussels sprouts with a generous topping of bacon and mashed potatoes. Although we had a few quibbles (ho-hum mashed potatoes, overly sweet corn pudding), overall the food was delicious and prepared to a very high standard. Lady R is currently dry, but has applied for a liquor license. Go out and support this very deserving new restaurant now to help them over the hump.

We just left and I needed to leave a review immediately. This is one of the best places in Lexington by far. The beignets are actually life changing. The owners are incredibly sweet and so was our server. Our meals were excellent and hot, and the ambiance is actually insane. It felt like we were Alice in wonderland. The portions are generous and the prices are better than fair. We will back soon!

Very nice Sunday brunch. Had the Eggs in Purgatory which was very good. Beignets were delicious and the vibe is very cozy.

This is truly amazing place be it southern, Cajun, comfort food roots that produce an interesting fusion. A unique setting with charm and friendly staff. I ma not a fan of Shirmp and Grits. after trying these I may have to change my opinon. I Highly recommend! The food, service and environment were all fantastic. Loved the beignets!! best of all will be back!

5 of us friends got two orders of Andouille and chicken gumbo, one Nola style BBQ shrimp, and one pasta Monica with a lot of crawfish – ate family style and shared all. All dishes were very tasty. We started with nonalcoholic drinks. My friends tell me that their mint seltzer was great, so were the other mocktails. We topped our jovial evening by sharing a bread pudding with caramel sauce – excellent as well, and not too sweet. Roughly $30 per person. This restaurant is in a home. Tables are set in different rooms. Very cozy with an old-world vibe. We’ll definitely go back again and especially take friends from out of town. Many thanks Cori for your hospitality and Lazarus for your patience with our questions and requests!

Loved it! We had an early dinner, so it wasn't crowded. What a cute place with a great vibe! We had the BBQ shrimp appetizer with the fried grit cake to start, and it was fantastic. I had the salmon, and the hubs had the shrimp and grits. The salmon was cooked perfectly, great presentation, great flavor. My husband said his shrimp and grits were delicious, but that the BBQ shrimp were his favorite. Great food and great service. We will definitely be back.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Lexington. Had a lovely friend date at this beautiful establishment and the waitstaff and hostess took great care of us. The food was impeccable and so delicious. I couldn't get enough of ever dish we had. The owners are fabulous people and not to mention the head chef and all staff in the back of the house know what they are doing. Get your reservations now! You won't be sorry.

I have eaten at Lady Remoulade twice and the food is FANTASTIC. The restaurant has a really cool ambience. The staff has been very accommodating. First class all the way! I would highly recommend anyone to patronize this business.

Lovely brunch spot! Well-appointed space that is crowded with tea house vibe items and yet feels open and airy. Take a few minutes to check out the grounds - excellent event space. Food was yummy - everyone in my party cleaned their plate. I tried the Eggs in Purgatory and will be back for the rest. The Spritzer mocktail was refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness to pair with the meal. I was not a fab of the beignets - too doughy - but with everything else being so on par will gladly try again on my next visit.
