We ordered from the catering menu for a holiday party, and it was a hit! Everything was delicious, including the sides & dessert. The pulled pork and chicken didn't need the sauce that was provided, but some folks liked the extra flavor. We got potato salad, beans and macaroni & cheese, and they were just as good as the meat. The banana pudding was amazing. I would order from here for any occasion I couldn't cook for myself, and I would highly recommend it. Thanks LX BBQ!

My girlfriends and I were visiting from Virginia and stopped in for dinner, only to discover some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had.
To start—the wagyu brisket was insanely tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Truly a wow moment. (I highly recommend the brisket fried rice!)
Add in fantastic mac and cheese, banana pudding for dessert, and the kindest, most welcoming staff, and you’ve got an absolute winner.
I can’t recommend this place enough—and on my next visit to Lexington, I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been wanting to stop in here for so long, and I finally got the chance to! I wish I would’ve checked it out earlier! First of all, the people are just the absolute sweetest. They wanted to know all about me and since it was my first time there, they gave me a little taste of some thing that is a popular dish of theirs so I could try it, and so on. We talked all about our hometowns and how/why we ended up in Lexington. It was such a nice time. The people are so friendly and it was a very memorable part of my experience.
The barbecue was absolutely delicious. The sauce on my pulled pork sandwich made it already juicy and tasty enough without the other sauces, but the other sauces taste great with the food too, and it’s super tasty. I didn’t order it, but they gave me a taste of the brisket fried rice, and wow!!! When I come back, I will DEFINITELY be getting some!! It is AMAZING! Such an unsuspecting hit!! I really liked the mac & cheese too, but the pulled pork and brisket fried rice definitely stole the show for me!!
The building feels very intimate and casual, and definitely fosters a nice sense of community.
I definitely recommend going to LX BBQ, and go sooner rather than later, so you don’t miss out on opportunities to visit that restaurant in the future! I wish I would’ve gone sooner!

Me and my wife ate here for the first time yesterday and everything was exceptional! The brisket was amazing and so was the pulled pork! We ordered mac and cheese for our sides and it was very good also. We ended up getting a rack of ribs to go and they were bursting with flavor and falling off the bone. I would highly recommend this place and the service was extremely good!

Food was amazing! Coming from Florida, the food was so good and better than my local Florida BBQ joint. The brisket was super tender and moist, brisket fried rice, chef kiss. we definitely are making this our number 1 place when we are in Lex!
