We had an overnight in Lexington and thought we would give Malone's a try. Excellent food and service. They had a promotion giving out $25 gift card when you spend $100, we recieved and gift card and used it on this trip. Hence this was our secong trip to Malone's and it was once again delicious... we'll make this our regular spot when driving through or stay overnight in Lexington.
It was Father's Day so the service was slow and the noise level was high. We were there for two hours and the service was noticeably slower than usual. The food was great and the cost is fair for what you receive. We enjoyed our meal.
For not being very busy I felt like we were rushed. Kip had very little personality and we genuinely felt like he was bothered that we were there and wanting to take our time with lunch. It's unfortunate, we usually really enjoy our time at Malone's.
