Its a mcdonalds what can you say other than that the person who designed the drive thru area had a bunch of tricky calls to make and so this normally backs traffic up to the street on sunday morning breakfast rush.

I know from first hand experience how big of a toll working in the food industry can take on a person and the faces of an eatery can make or break a place so when I encounter an experience that goes above the standard I like to share it. The gentleman who took the drive through orders and worked the payment this morning (3/20/24) around 7:40am was very kind and turned a stressful morning around. This isn’t the closest McDonalds to me but it will be the location I use from now on.

You know, I am really tired of ordering my hashbrown well done to have eyes rolled and then pull up and the hashbrown is cold and squishy. If they were cooked thoroughly to begin with I wouldn't order it well done. And, hey, McDonald's when I spend my time and money to come to your store I want what I say I want at the speaker. Is it really that difficult? Thanks so much!

I don't go to McDonald's often because typically the quality and service are not great. I went to the Lex Hamburg location for the first time recently. I was SHOCKED at the service. In an absolute great way. The order taker, the payment receiver, and the food giver (sorry for the lack of professional titles) were all exceptionally friendly in a genuine way. The food itself was good. It was not super hot but still flavorful. The location is less than 5 minutes from my home and I have avoided it. Just from my first experience I will definitely be placing it in my rotation.

Burgers were cold,wouldn't even wilt the cheese. Nuggets seemed over cook and in old oil. Fries were 50 50. Some hot some cold.

It's McDonald's fast food. But the drive-thru was quick and efficient. The folks in the drive-thru were nice too. That's a bonus these days.
