I love this place the atmosphere is great. The only problem that I have is that it's time for a change with the lightening on the inside and outside. The Mi Mexico sign is outdated. They need more colors outside and inside. Great family place tho.

I love Mi Mexicos food. But the service is hit or miss sometimes. Also the restroom, everytime I ever go when I visit there a one or more female staff members hanging out in the restroom just looking in the mirror or chatting. When I went to the restroom there was a stall over flowing with toilet paper but staff members as usual are just hanging out in the restroom.

We ordered a couple margaritas on the rocks with dinner and when they came out they were a puke yellow and too sweet to drink. We asked to have them exchanged for two frozen margaritas which they did but then refused to remove the original two from the bill. Even after speaking to the manager she refused to have them removed from our bill and we might’ve had one or two sips of them. So much for the customer is always right, I’ll never be back. Wish this joke of a Mexican restaurant all the best.

We decided on the Chimichanga platter to share. The chimichanga was fine, but the rice and beans seemed a little old, but we were there between lunch and dinner. Since it was happy hour, we decided on the lime margaritas. My husband was able to drink half of his, but when I had a couple sips of mine I had to stop. There was little to no flavor in the margarita at all. To me it tasted very watered down. We thought it must’ve been a skinny margarita, but they assured us it was not a skinny one. We were comped for my margarita. We are not from here, and we were told that this one was the best authentic Mexican place to go to. I would say it is subpar and we will not be back.

I decided to finally try the food here since it had been recommended to me by family when I first moved back into the area a few years ago. Tonight I was driving that way after a meeting so I thought I’d finally call in an order.I got two orders of the chimichanga meal, one with fajita chicken, one with shedded chicken.As you can see from the pictures, the fajita chicken meal was inedible. It was burned to a charred black crisp! My dog wouldn’t even eat it. The other one had maybe four slivers of chicken. About the size of one chicken tender cut up.Both meals were ice cold when we arrived home and was ordered ten minutes before we picked it up…and we live in Hamburg.I will call the restaurant tomorrow and hope for a resolution. I’ll note on here if I get any resolution but I’m not holding my breath.I will never eat here again and will inform others of my experience.I had to cook myself dinner…even though I was exhausted from a long day. Terrible experience!

Manager was incredibly rude when I asked for a margarita to be remade. He stated it was “common sense” and that I was wrong for requesting such. The waitress then immediately proceeded to bring me the check; insinuating they wanted me to immediately leave. Service was horrible, the food was mid, and the atmosphere is tacky.WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!!
