The food is good but the dishes at the restaurant are extremely dirty, the cups, plates and silverware were stained and had food on them the service was pretty decent they were pretty quick with everything.

At first, I was inclined to rate this place 4 stars, but recent visits have left me hesitant about returning. While the food consistently impresses, the service has been consistently lacking. While live music can be enjoyable, it's less so when it's played so loudly that it disrupts the dining experience or when musicians approach tables for tips without considering the diners' preferences or comfort. Onto the service experience. On one occasion, despite arriving well before closing, we struggled to get any attention as the staff began closing down the restaurant early, as they were having a slow day. This left us feeling unwelcome. Our LAST experience, we arrived 40minutes before they closed, not realizing the time. We are seated and immediately the server asked for our order, since we've JUST sat down, we ask for a minute. The server was VERY rude about this. ALL of the restaurant staff was staring at us and clearly giving dirty looks. (keeping in mind there are several people still in the restaurant and we don't intend to stay long). We apologize and tell them we didn't realize they were closing in 40min and tell them we are leaving. One guy tells us no it's fine, there's plenty of time. The staring and dirty looks continue, and the rude behavior persists so, of course, our mood is very tense and uncomfortable and pretty upset with this behavior so, we left without ordering. It's unfortunate that such behavior tarnishes what could otherwise be an enjoyable dining experience, particularly considering the quality of the food, although the prices are on the higher side for Mexican cuisine. In my opinion, if the establishment prefers not to serve customers close to closing time, it would be more appropriate to adjust their closing hours rather than resorting to passive-aggressive behavior.

This is not no mi pueblo 2 ?. The meat is bland and seasoned in literally just herbs . The only thing that was great about the place was the heated patio. The leftovers are even more gross when warmed up. Came here with family but now I know not to ever come here again for a date night . I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I rather spend $60 bucks for food that actually taste good not BLAND .

Y’all didn’t get to see in the video BUT .. they grabbed the hat off of my dad WHILE he was dancing and put it on the girl behind her and started singing to her ???♀️ That just ran through me! Look at his smile .. he deserved more than 31 seconds in my opinion ? Plus we had been there 2 hours waiting on this, I told them we wanted him sung to as soon as we made the RESERVATION! You seen in the video we had our to go plates piled up, we was READY TO GO! I will say this though they were the 3rd restaurant I called in nicholasville on a short notice that could get 10 people in. Y’all’s vibe was awesome, loved it, JUST GET MORE HATS ???♀️

The local paper recently ranked the top Mexican restaurants in Lexington. Mi Pequena didn't make the top 30. My fiancé and I were shocked. This has to be in the top 3.The rankings were based on yelp reviews, so I had to chime in with a 5 star.Excellent food and great margaritas!

There were 4 individuals in my party and we entered the restaurant at 9:05 p.m. Closing time is 10 p.m. tonight. We were seated immediately and given the usual chips and salsa. We knew exactly what we wanted to eat when we entered, so this should have been a quick experience. We left at 9:25 p.m., due to lack of service. The table next to us had a waitress that visited them twice, as did the table catty-cornered from us, twice, also. Not once did a waitress stop at the table and speak with us, take our drink orders, or even state that they would be right with us. Neither of the waitresses at either of those tables smiled at us or even looked in our direction. I have eaten here 20-30 times before and NEVER had an experience this badly. When we walked past 3 waitresses and the hosstess, as we exited the restaurant, no one stopped us or asked how our experience was. They just continued to chat among themselves. This experience has completely changed how I feel about this restaurant. It has been my fav Mexican restaurant in Lexington since they opened, but I will not return after this. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I am so disappointed.

Amazing food & speedy service! The seafood tostadas are amazing- piled high & the sauce on them is so darn delicious. Super fresh and flavorful & for the price you can't beat it!
