Fabulous dinner at Mileta! This cozy gem strikes a perfect balance between warmth, sophistication, and culinary excellence.

atmosphere is inviting and thoughtfully curated—dim lighting, tasteful local décor, and the vibe feels just right!

The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and PASSIONATE about the food. Our server took time to make thoughtful recommendations and ensured our experience was seamless from start to finish.
BRAVO!!

Mileta is by far the best restaurant in Lexington. Mileta offers everything: a welcoming atmosphere, outstanding service, creative drinks, and a sophisticated menu. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant and its staff. The owner, Dallas Rose, goes out of his way to create a memorable experience for all of the guests. You're treated like family at Mileta.

And, too, can't leave the review without mentioning the unreal 90's R&B playlist that's playing throughout the restaurant, another layer to the great vibe at Mileta.

This restaurant is Lexington’s best kept secret! The food is absolutely exquisite, the service remarkable and the environment casually elegant! I have been there for lingering dining experiences as well as quick cocktails and/or dessert … in all cases, treated with the same targeted attention!
Take the opportunity to indulge and don’t miss out on the parmesan ice cream!

This was our first time here but we will be back for sure. The food and atmosphere were amazing and the staff and owner were wonderful especially our waitress Alicia she was attentive, fun and knowledgeable of the menu. Our drinks were never empty and her suggestions on what to get were all wonderful!

The service was excellent! We sat out on the patio (y'all need fans) but service was amazing. Even the owner delivered our drinks! Alicia was the server and she was so attentive. For someone who also owns a restaurant- her upselling was top tier, and her menu knowledge out of this world.
If you're debating going - go! Get a reservation and don't miss out!!

What a joke. The hostess had the attitude of someone being forced to work against their will — rude, dismissive, and clearly not trained in basic manners. Service was slower than molasses, like they forgot we existed. The food was bland and forgettable, like it came from a cafeteria tray. And the cocktails? Disgusting. I’ve had better drinks in a college dorm. Save your time and money — this place is trash.

A perfect first experience! Our server was fabulous; she recommended two light/medium-bodied red wine varietals I was unfamiliar with and brought me a sample of each before ordering. She also recommended the seasonal (or current) Old Fashioned special (Smoked Peach), which everyone else at the table ordered and loved. Many of the dishes used terms that were authentically Italian and not typical, and she was very helpful in interpreting them and helping gauge the consistency of each (hearty, light, etc). The whipped goat cheese and citrus roasted chilled beets appetizer was so unique and absolutely delightful! The focaccia was crispy and soft and perfect. We all ordered something different but everyone was happy with their selections. I personally had the ricotta and lemon filled Fiori - another brand new taste experience. Delicious! The other hits were the pork chop, Lumache, and spaghetti. Mid-meal we were greeted with water refills by the GM, Preston, who also personally called me earlier in the day to confirm our reservation. Talk about hands-on! After the meal we walked around to see the private rooms - one with glass walls and the other full enclosed - and the latter is absolutely incredible! I guarantee it stays booked up for large and corporate events. Stunning. We can’t wait to come back and bring more first-timers!

The wine was great. The pasta we had was excellent. The staff were absolutely rude. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while. I have been told great things. So I figured while shopping go in with a friend have a couple of glasses of wine and check it out. I did, and was disappointed. We sat at the bar. We were greeted by one of the two bartenders. He was extremely dismissive and was acting like he was better than us. It was quite rude. Maybe it was because I was in a T-Shirt and hat. But regardless very rude and dismissive. We stride our wine which was excellent. Then a female bartender asked us if we were ordering. It was only a happy hour menu, but we understood and asked her about the options on the menu. She rolled her eyes and sighed a bit. She explained to us what she thought was good. We thanked her and asked her about the brunch menu. She went to get one for us and walked off. We waited another 20 minutes until they acknowledged us. Keep in mind there were only 4 customers in the restaurant at that time. They were talking and helping the other customers that were 6 seats away. But completely ignoring us like we were trash. When she came back we ordered. The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious. But at that point we both had enough. We asked for a box, finished our wine and left. I still left a 18% tip (my usual tip is 25% minimum, but the service was rude) but to be honest they did not deserve a dime over 10%. I had originally planned to go have a dinner with friends there Sunday evening. But the way they treat us….. I will never be back. So sad and disappointing that a bad couple of staff members can ruin what could have been a regular restaurant spot. I hope whoever goes in the future are treated better than us.

The ambiance, experience, customer service, and food are beyond exceptional. I couldn’t name a single location within 4 hours of Lexington that competes with Mileta. We have dined in as well as grabbed a few spots at the bar and the service and quality have been top notch. Where Lexington lacks in large scale, inclusive, high end dining, Mileta more than makes up for it in being the EXCLUSIVE location to enjoy something that exceeds expectations and elevates central KY from “chain-restaurant-drab” to “we hold a candle to real cities”. Bravo to the owners, chefs, and GM for an exemplary experience.

Connecticut oysters were fantastic. Best Ribeye steak ever. Menu of exotic dishes is unbelievable. My nephew, who is a million mile flyer and has eaten all over the world puts Militas right at the top. The service is the best.
