This was our second time back on a date night after an amazing first experience. We couldn’t stop talking about it so we got back first chance we had. Christian was our waiter and I really can’t say enough wonderful things about him. Knowledgeable, the right amount of attentive, funny and so so kind. The food was as amazing as it was the first time and the cocktails were fabulous as well!

We chose Mileta for my wife's birthday and it exceeded our (very) high expectations. The service was impeccable and the food was simply delectable. I know it sounds basic, but you could tell the food was so fresh and it was piping hot, pasta right out of the sauté pan. It did not sit in a window under a heat lamp. The food and drinks were fun and different (Burning Couches in Tokyo drink, sourdough pancake). Just a terrific experience. Best meal we've had in Lexington in 20+ years.

I had high hopes for this place but the menu is way too overpriced and the pasta is mediocre at best. 145 dollars for a fatty tomahawk? 30 dollar salad for some lettuce and feta cheese? Lacks creativity and the ability to deliver tasty food at a reasonable price. Hope this place gets it together!

This is the restaurant Lexington deserves, and I’m so glad the wait is finally over. The food, cocktails, décor, atmosphere, and music are all exquisite. The whole place has this sexy vibe that makes you want to savor the moment. Every dish is decadent and exciting, and you definitely don’t want to skip dessert. Promise.

Much rather drive to Cincinnati for SOTTO. This place isnt that good. Lacks flavor, for what you get its very overpriced. Went for valentines day with my wife and it was disappointing. I can see how people in Kentucky think this is good because there is no good Italian food in Lexington. Trust me save your $ and take a trip to Cincinnati.

My fiancé took me and my friend here to celebrate our engagement the day of. The service was absolutely impeccable. Our server, Candace was top tier. She was respectful, attentive, and very informative about their foods and the culture of the city. We are from Michigan and this has set the bar for overall service and food in the states. The food is from local farmers, Candace told us where each meat was raised. Just overall an amazing experience. I highly suggest trying their fries and the aged beef was absolutely incredible. And to finish it off they have an incredible ice cream desert, that is to die for. It may have been the emotions from the day but it genuinely brought tears to my eyes. Thank you all for making such a memorable experience for us to celebrate the next chapter of our life.

Chef Alex and team are phenomenal! We were worried when we saw a mall. But we met Chef Alex at the Bourbon Classic when we learned of Mileta. This is why we came to LEX. The cocktails were amazing. The attention to detail was on par with the best restaurants We have ever enjoyed. Waiting for Michelin to visit.
Made from scratch and always learning and inventing. Some of the best trout and steak we have ever had. But our first course had us talking most. When you need to google ingredients only to find, flavors found in modern French quiseine, it is a good sign. New learning for us as we try flavors from around the world.

Returned for a bday dinner with 5 other friends. Our server was Candice and she was amazing from intro to our departure! I gave my friends my feedback from my first experience. Everyone was optimistic and open to trying new things. The ambiance, music, service & cocktails were consistent high points. Candice really exceeded my expectations based on my last visit. Super attentive & knowledgeable! Based on her menu rundown, we selected a variety of choices & shared to get a full experience. Everyone was very pleased. A few adjustments on certain menu options would have made this night perfect (pork belly dish had too many fat pieces, but sides were seasoned & delicious, and more of a meat presence in some pasta dishes). The shining star was our server tonight. She answered ALL of our questions, took our photos in the Rose Room (which she encouraged us to visit), & just overall made us feel welcomed and special. Everyone commented that they would return. We all loved feeling like we were transported to another city by coming here. The notice of menu changes makes future visits very appealing! Kudos!

Soooo…wife and I had dinner at Mileta last night. Best restaurant experience in Lexington . & !!
Admittedly, we’re kinda foodies and have had the good fortune of visiting & living in some great food towns. Perhaps our favorite town was New Orleans…incredible combination of creativity and extraordinary flavor.
Anyway, we’ve only been in Lexington for a little over a year and have been to quite a few really nice restaurants around town. Mileta came highly recommended from a fellow foodie, and we decided to spend our anniversary dinner there.
From the moment we walked in and were amazed by the brilliant decor and general vibe, we were treated to the best dinner we’ve had in a few years. Alicia, our host for the evening, took us through the menu and a little history of Mileta, and then served up an awesome cocktail (blood meridian), 2 unique apps, a sourdough pancake and hamachi crudo and we split an amazingly delicious, yet light entree - baked rigatoni!
And then, we had desert!!! Chef Alex presented a show stopping Parmesan Ice Cream that blew our minds and a Mocha tart made my eyes roll back into my brain. Found out that, among many other places, both Chef Alex and Dallas also cooked in New Orleans!
Bottom line - go there!
We’ll be back…many more times.

The best meal hands down in Lexington! Can’t wait to come back in!!
Not a fan. I heard it was good and looked forward to trying it and find myself a little disappointed. I feel like I could have made pasta as good or better at home. $28ish per plate is too much for the pasta they are serving.
They have a seasonal menu and I might give it another try later but I won’t be hurrying back.

As someone that does not eat at high end restaurants, to any timid to come, just go.
My wife and I are not strapped with cash to just eat out like this all the time or ever. But im telling you, you get what you pay for. And we will be coming back.
The Manager on the floor Lily is extremely kind and checked on us multiple times to make sure we had a great night and Kingsley our server made sure of the same. We didnt once have to fill our champagne or water glasses once. And there were what seemed a full house of around 150-200 people there that night. All staff made us feel like we were the only ones there.
The food was incredible and the pasta is a big reason we will be back. They have great portions and never felt like any plate was “small”. I promise to those who dont always go to something like this, just try it. The kitchen will give you something phenomenal.
I hate wearing suits or clothes of that nature, but this restaurant gives you the service and food of fine dining, but allows you to be causally dressed in a cool environment.
Ill wrap up this comment before it gets buried by other reviews but if you go, try either the Tallow fries, Radiatore pasta, or the Mocha Tart.
Thanks to the entire Mileta team for making my wifes 30th birthday special.

Beautiful atmosphere. Kudos to the interior designer - it's very pretty inside. The hostess and server were friendly. Service was good.
We ordered and appetizer of whipped goat cheese and beets, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately the mafaldine dish and mortadella sandwich were both, just ok. The fries were delish! Very nice wine and cocktail list. We don't drink though and would have liked to see a section for fun mocktails.
$75 on a lunch without fancy drinks was a little steep for the quality of food.

The design of the place is awesome, the music is highly questionable as a high end Italian restaurant blasting hardcore rap?
Food was good but kind of overpriced but the KICKER is the service. We came during happy hour and were essentially completely ignored. The manager was at the bar with his laptop, there was a guy with AirPods sweeping, and then the remaining 4 servers were all cackling and laughing, brewing coffees and drinking other drinks with each other for literally over an hour. No refills, no water carafe refill, no more bar drinks, etc. I almost went to grab the hostess and ask if I could just Venmo the restaurant $150 on my way out but luckily my husband stepped up and interrupted whatever hilarious powwow was happening to ask for the check.
It’s not worth the price to overpay and be ignored.
