Got the Ribeye with fries and the smoked Mac and cheese, all super great. Had the rolls to start and the butter is divine. My wife got the short rib and it’s just a brilliant dish. Overall great place. We will be back soon.

Millstone has officially become one of my favorite spots in Lexington. From start to finish, every part of the meal was dialed in. We kicked things off with the pimento cheese appetizer, and it set the tone immediately — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the warm bread. Easily one of the best versions I’ve had anywhere.
I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was flawless. Perfect balance, not overly sweet, and made with the kind of care you can taste.
For the main course, the chargrilled ribeye stole the show. Cooked exactly to temperature, rich, juicy, and insanely tender. The beef tallow fries on the side were next-level — crispy, savory, and absolutely addictive.
If you’re in Lexington and want a spot where the food, drinks, and service all hit five-star levels, Millstone is the place. I’ll be back soon.

I went in to this bar while I was passing through town and was caught off guard by the amazing service they have there. My day went from good to great all thanks to Will! He kindly walked me through the drink menu and even made me his favorite cocktail he’s been working on. Just an average day that became really freaking cool, Thanks Will!
