I have been to the old Minton's a few times and wanted to check out their new location on National. Grabbed my daughter (her first time) and had some lunch! We ordered the Brunch on a Bun and some Pancakes with cinnamon roll icing on top along with Applewood bacon and a coffee (French Press). All new foods vs. what I have tried at Minton's before. FANTASTIC!
The new location is a huge upgrade for space so much easier to enjoy a more private feeling meal and of course the service was also great. Assuming it's the owner that was our server, he has been my server every time I have gone at either location.

Really delicious food, the main dining area can get a little loud when it's packed, but that's anywhere. Overall great service and fantastic food!

When we first arrived the server didn’t pour the water. Ordered coffee and had to ask for cream. Got the food, no salt and pepper on the table. my friend had to ask for sauce and salt and pepper. I ordered a tiramisu pancake, got a triple extra dry pancakes with a cream and some chocolate pieces. Wasn’t worth the calories.i wasnt offfered any syrup. I had to ask for honey. Didn’t bring any syrup. The table was dirty when we sat down. Never got wiped. Very disappointed. Never coming back although I like supporting locals.

ELVIS Pancakes!!! 10/10 All shook up for it! Friendly service, great atmosphere, vegan options, beautiful and delicious!! A little southern, with a classy, sophisticated touch. Chef Ashley and her team take virtuosity to a new level- simple done exceptional! At a time where you feel skimflation impact the plate, you don’t experience that here. Consistently great service, even during expansion!

This was the second time I've come here. I believe in giving second chances. The first time the food was sooooo salty we couldn't eat it, not seasoned just extra salted.
But many things in the menue looked delish so gave it a second chance!
Went today, 1) didn't get seated for 15 min, not because it was busy but bc No one came to get us, and yes I even went inside to look for someone. 2) They are very understaff still, Noone came to get our order for 10 min. We order simple water, took another 10 min to get. Finaly got to oder the delish food and that's what took almost 40 min to get, mind you, I only got soup and sandwich. My friend liked what she got however I didn't like what I got. The soup was cold not even room temperature.
It's now time to leave , and that took another 10 min to get someone's attention to take our payment. In the 20 min we were eating Noone came by to see how the food was, as a matter of fact, the entire TIME Noone came to check on us. We had to get someone's att to even get water.
They have only been open for a month. And it does take time to get the hang of this. So, I will go again in a few months and come back and give my opinion on that service and food.

We tried the Savory french toast and the biscuits and gravy meal. They both were very good dishes. But the savory french toast definitely is the dish to try if you go. I had never tasted such a well blended flavor profile for a breakfast dish, I will definitely get this when I return. Well done Minton's on the Savory french toast. Great service throughout our meal too. Between the great food and service I can see why people enjoy this spot. We did go on a Sunday morning so there was a long wait (30 mins plus) but the hostess kept us updated well as we waited. The only downside was it was a little smokey in there? It lasted throughout our meal so I'm not sure if it was something with the kitchen that day or the vents. Just very noticeable is why I mentioned it.

Very disappointed in Mintons. This use to be my go to place to go in the morning. They have handled the move very poorly. Not organized at all. No point in trying to do take out anymore. They tell you to go to the bar but the bartender wasn’t even there. Even heard people in there saying this just isn’t the same Mintons. Very disappointed, a very loyal customer that probably won’t come in again unless I see no one in the restaurant because the staff is not doing well trying to handle multiple tables.

I had a lunch meeting with customers at Minton's. Walking distance from their office. We had a PHENOMENAL experience. Our lunch entrees were very unique and flavorful. We wanted to order one of everything because the menu was so interesting. First time lifetime I had to choose between tiramisu pancakes and buffalo dip grilled cheese. I went with the grilled cheese and it was perfection on my pallet and the tater tots side was a perfect pairing to the sandwich! Service was very good but our server was trying to cover a lot of ground during busy Friday lunch so we saw him a few less times than I would have preferred. I cannot wait to return to try another dish.

Very busy when we arrived. We're seated at the counter right away, otherwise a 30 minute wait. Sat at the counter for 15 minutes until we asked the nice girl who seated us, who was supposed to serve us? As there were many people running around. Ten minutes later our server came to take our order. He gave us a choice of coffee or French press. David chose the French press, i ordered ice tea not sweet. David's coffee order arrived, but he had no coffee cup to pour his french press in. We asked for a coffee cup from one of the employees stocking supplies behind the counter.. My tea was ice water with a little color of tea. When I could get our servers attention, as he was extremely busy, we asked if they could just warm the Coffee in a microwave as David had already added his cream and sugar. (His French press was cold) He said he would bring another french press set up.. So instead of bringing a French press, he brought a regular cup of very hot coffee. No worries, we are easy going. After a very long wait, our food arrived. By this time I was out of tea and didn't ask for a refill. It would have been nice to have a drink with my meal. David said his biscuit and Gravy were good. I can't say the same about my chicken and Waffle. Very small amount of syrup poured over the Waffle. No extra brought with the order. The chicken was in bite size over the Waffle which didn't have any flavor and looked really dark, like over cooked. My order was okay. I guess I just expect something really tasty for $18. Over all, our experience was okay. As an older person, I think this place is more for the much younger crowd. As there were 3 tables with college age and 30ish something that seemed to think they had to talk as loud as they could to talk over each other. Noise level was off the chart. I wish this establishment all the success in this business.

So glad to see Minton’s move into a larger space, and with a bigger, friendlier neighborhood to house them as well.
I’ve been going to Minton’s for a few years now, and it has never disappointed. Looking forward to warm weather brunches on the roof!!
