We stopped in to try a few beers. John Michael waited on us as we were seated at the bar (otherwise stand in line to purchase beer and then drink it at a table). He was very nice and personable. They had great beers with a great variety. We were there during happy hour which saved us $1 per beer.

The BEST PIZZA in Lexington! I live in Wilmore but drive there often just to have dinner with friends. The atmosphere is great, the beer is good, but the pizza is amazing. I order the fat sticks every time I go. They are cheese sticks loaded with crumbled bacon and mozzarella cheese. I also love the potato chorizo, buffalo chicken, honey garlic chicken, and pesto pork pizzas. The sandwiches are good too! You definitely should try this place. The food is always hot, cooked to order, and high quality.

Rolling Oven and Mirror Twin are the perfect duo. I’d recommend White Girl Wasted with the Bianca pizza. If you love pizza and beer, don’t miss out on this place.

I’ve been going to Mirror Twin for years, and I absolutely love it. The beer and the ambience are phenomenal and the staff is even better. However, their gluten free options are abysmal (which is completely reasonable for a beer joint) and their collab with Rolling Oven is not it. While Rolling Oven claims they have gluten free options for people like me with Celiac, they upcharge like CRAZY for a small gluten free pizza. A small gluten free pizza for only 6 slices was $31 after gratuity. The beer is so reasonably priced and amazing, but the pricing for food is insane. I definitely won’t be going back for the food, but I will always visit again for the drinks.

What a great place! Casual atmosphere, perfect place to wind down after work. You order your food and beer separately at the counter, that’s a little different, but they are 2 different companies, so makes sense. Then you pick your table and someone will bring your food out. I ordered the wings with the sweet thai chili glaze and they were so good and juicy they fell off the bone. Rolling oven may have the best wings in town! There were so many pizza options but ended up getting a pepperoni (this time) and it was very good.

I don’t typically write reviews but I felt this one was needed! Rolling Oven may be one of the few places that actually cooks their chicken in house. I know that’s odd, but I love all the chicken pizzas. I travel a lot with work and have tried most of what’s available in Lexington. Let me tell you, most of the time the chicken is that precooked or frozen-which ruins it for me. Rolling Oven’s chicken pizzas are a game changer. You can tell the chicken is fresh- it’s obvious they cook their bacon too. To me, that’s details that show they care about the quality!
Three hours to get our entire meal that we had to bring home to eat.
