My review is based on 2 different pies. The key lime was good but not great. The cherry was bad. The crust was good but the cherries were so sour you could not eat the pie. Very disappointed.

They make the best Mayday(Derby) pies. It’s worth the price. I usually get them via DoorDash, where I live 30 minutes away, but if I were to go in person it would be worth the drive. Amazing pie!

If you want the best Derby pie in the city, come here. You feel years of love when you walk in this humble spot. You can instantly tell the focus is baking without the frills and thrills. Staff is friendly and prompt.
P.S. if you ever dine at Rafferty's and enjoy dessert, they partner with Missy's for their dessert menu. It's that good.

Unsanitary. Manager working in there didn’t intend on WEARING GLOVES when making pie slices right in front of me. #Stopeatingout2025

My first time ordering a whole pie. I realized the Christmas rush may have impacted my end result. As a small business owner myself, I hope to never push beyond the point I can’t deliver the expectations my customers have come for in the first place. This particular pie was butterscotch, meringue had flattened, pie crust had dried so it was crumbling. Overall it was the pie batter itself, it was beyond thick, lacked butterscotch flavor. Had one guest inquire if it was still frozen (never frozen) after hours on the counter. At this price tier I expect to get what order in the restaurant they most notably serve. These 3 pies were horrible on Thanksgiving. No more than a bite was taken and there it was. No pie for the holiday. Absolutely disgusting.

I have purchased many of their pies but the recent purchase of two pecan pies was terrible. The pies were dry and had pecan shell fragments through out the pies. It rates 1 because I can not rate Zero.

Best pie I've ever had. I only wish I didn't live in Chicago because there's nothing that compares to this place near me!
