If you can't get your orders out in a reasonable time don't be on delivery apps, simple. Waste of my time to have to stand in here 30 min for 2 God Damn sandwiches. Pathetic.

Country style deli. Good selection of soups and custom made sandwiches.
Wander the shop while waiting for them to build your sandwich!

The pimento cheese lives up to the hype. The restaurant is very cute and the staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming. I like all the various options for sides and salads.

If you have no reason to go to The Mousetrap, go to get their Original Pimento Cheese spread. Its amazing, the perfect blend of flavors! A touch garlic forward makes it a winner, especially when compared to the bland goop that many other businesses sell. We found that it not only could be eaten chilled as is typical but also was terrific as a savory cheesy topping when melted on bread in the broiler. Additionally, the staff at The Mousetrap are personable and helpful. The gift shop offers great gift options for home and entertaining, even if the gift might only be for yourself!

I had 1/2 a tuna sandwich and a bowl of potato leek soup. Both were delicious but the sandwich was rather on the small side. The service was very professional and courteous!
This also looks like an exciting store to shop for gifts. Unfortunately I did not have extra time that day.

The litte enclosed terrace one can sit in looks ok but doesn't feel cozy. Very strange! I believe it is the missing lighting. Even during the day it would do well with a couple warm light fixtures, preferably NO LED though. They are bad for our brains. Look it up if you don't know.

Christopher at the Mousetrap saved my life today. I’m supposed to get the pimiento cheese for a work function and the closed early today for a tea party. Christopher unlocked the door and let me in to buy the pimiento cheese (which is fantastic), thank you so much!!

A Lexington Institution! You come for the pimento cheese (the best in the Bluegrass- taste like home) and chicken salad, you stay for the customer service and the tuna salad (IYKYK)!

I went to The Mousetrap for lunch with my dad and his friend. As soon we walked in, we were greeted nicely. Everyone there was so nice to us and the service was amazing! Ava took our orders and made us our food and provided excellent service. It was so good!!! I can't wait to go back to The Mousetrap soon!
