Incompetent staff, locked the doors an hour early! I was surprised to walk up to locked doors on a Thursday just before 9 and staff wouldn’t acknowledge me at the door, so I called the number. Finally someone answers the phone, I said I was outside and their hours show 10pm close. People inside getting served and two neon OPEN signs were even on. I’m curtly told they close at 9 on Wednesdays. I said it was Thursday (duh) and hours listed says 10pm close. She says “oh right, can’t do anything now, made a mistake and registers are locked.” I bet they would spit in the beer if I made a point to open with the owner. Why bother going here with such an incompetent staff. Read other reviews of them running people out early or not serving them at all. Maybe the owner should try working here or is he/she just as lazy?

Just ate lunch here on a weekday. Food was fine, but the service was terrible because the bartender/server would rather talk than check on customers.

I’m the guy that left the one star review you told me to reach out to you. The service was pretty good. However, I ordered the chicken sandwich. I asked instead of getting a side of fries if I can get a side of cheese curds. The guy that was working the bar at the time was nice and friendly said he would figure something out. My food came out and I got the cheese curds. I’m guessing a smaller portion than what you would normally get for the appetizer. As that was my side. However, I realize later that he had charged me for the appetizer plus the sandwich. I paid full price for an appetizer that didn’t even have probably the full amount of cheese curds that I want would’ve normally gotten. I didn’t actually get a side with my sandwich as I thought that was to be the cheese curds and I was just going to pay an up charge for it. I don’t think it is right to charge someone for a sandwich plus full price for a side and then not even get an actual side for my meal. I paid for the sandwich with no side and an appetizer. Plus, I’m assuming the amount of cheese curds I got because it wasn’t that many was the amount that you would give someone as a side not the full appetizer. I hope you can understand that would be pretty frustrating if that happened to you while at a restaurant. Again, the overall experience outside of being overcharged for food was pretty good. I do not know if I be back. Plus sending your email and it not working is frustrating as well.

Mr Brew’s Taphouse has a welcoming and fun atmosphere and the service has always been exceptional. You can tell this is where locals like to go. And if you get Paulo as your bartender/server, consider yourself extra extra lucky! He is so kind. Happy hour also cannot be beat.

New place for us. Food was amazing. Service was the best we have had in a long time. We will be back often. Homecmade chips were so good. Jackson T was our server and we went back with different friends just because he was so great!
This was my first time in. I just wanted a nice place to sit down and eat a burger and read my book. I was blown away. The Peanut Buster hamburger was even better than I imagined. Jackson was working the front of house and he was very helpful and had great service. I cannot recommend this place more.
