It's OK. Normal doughnuts are not anything special imo. Specialty doughnuts are so rarely worth their price, and that remain true here too. The people are wonderful!
I used to like this place a lot but feel that it has gone downhill. On my last visit I stood for several minutes without being greeted while the staff chatted amongst themselves, purchased 2 donuts and 2 cold brews for a total of $17. Took the donuts to the kids and they were stale to the point that we ate a few bites and tossed them.
We recently rented the Clays Mill location for a baby shower. The rental price was affordable, and the quaint space was the perfect size. Two baristas stayed throughout the event, and management prepared three dozen specialty donuts (with pink icing) in honor of the baby girl whose upcoming arrival we were celebrating. I LOVE this place. As a person with celiac, it’s quickly become a part of my weekly routine to drive up from Richmond for gluten-free donuts every Friday or Saturday when they’re available. The coffee and staff are both wonderful too! Can’t wait for the next trip!

I come here often for the gluten free donuts. I bought half a dozen and when I went to open them I was disappointed to find a bug stuck on the icing on one of the donuts.
