Posting so the owners or those looking for a place to dine are aware--OV Bistro has closed as of January 2024. I have suggested the review for google, but it has been in review for many days.

Very low key. Great food. Whitney was an excellent server. She didn’t miss a beat with our table of 12.

Very welcoming atmosphere as the owner, Larry, even sat down at our table to chat and suggest menu items. Cocktails and dinner made from scratch, very satisfying. Found this spot online as we traveled to Indiana. We will certainly return.

My goodness, what an amazing place! This has got to be KYs best kept secret! If you are in the down town Lex area, do yourself a favor and eat here! Our server was incredibly sweet and helpful. Lary, the owner, even came to greet us. Amazing people like that are hard to come by in this day and age. When you put people like that with food like this I don't think you'll beat it anywhere in KY! Whenever we are back in town from Dallas Tx, this will be our main stop. Thanks, Old Vine Bistro for the best meal we've had in a long time!-Todd & Rebecca

If I could give it higher than 5 stars, I would. Had a memorable time with my colleagues and everything was excellent - ambiance, food, service. Would come here again!

Excellent dining. Wonderful service. We stumbled across this gem while touring downtown Lexington. Definitely a worthy place to the stop.

My husband and I were traveling to Georgia and stopped in Lexington for the night. We were clueless where to have dinner and stumbled across this restaurant. It was the best restaurant ever the food was fabulous, the menu had some very interesting items we did have an appetizer of gator bites and they were delicious. Both my husband and my dinners were excellent. They did not have a Sangria, but they offered to make me something like it and they did a great job it was spot on. Our waiter could not have been more accommodating and the atmosphere was great. If we lived in Lexington this would definitely be one of our regular restaurants to dine at. We travel frequently to Georgia from Ohio and this will be our regular restaurant.

Cute place. Tight parking. My walleye, while delicious was over-salted. The crab etouffee was highly spiced and uneaten as it would have killed the flavor of the delicate fish. Avoid the harsh tasting limoncello cookie dessert.

Ate there for the first time tonight and it was the best meal. There were 13 of us and everyone loved their food. Prime rib was amazing. Our table also had the fired chicken, fish and chips, baja pasta, and pasta primavera. Everyone loved their food. My 8 year old loved his kids chicken tenders too. Will definitely go back. If you haven’t tried it you are missing out.
