As a pesicatarian I was not happy with my order. The shrimp is definitely cooked with chicken. I blame myself for not asking if it was cooked in the same oil as chicken.

We had given up on Outback close to home years back but today we found ourselves at the Outback in Hamburg Lexington. The music was great and our waitress Barbera absolutely a delight so friendly and kind I could not ask for better service. To the chef on duty today the food was superb usually there is something on a plate you don’t like but not today I enjoyed every single bite!! I would come to this one over and over again thank you guys for such a positive experience!!!! This is the best I have had in a long time!!!!! Definitely got the happy food dance of approval!!!!

The atmosphere was fine. Our server was quick at first and got our orser for our drinks but after that she got distracted with another customer where they chitchat for quite sometime and we were just there looking at her and waiting for her to get our orders. We waited roughly 15 to 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. When we got our food, it was not what I expected (since I have eaten on other branches of this resto. The food was dry and I got my sides wrong. I didn't anymore complain since we have waited for our food for quite some time already.

I am a Dine Rewards member and frequent Outback as my steak restaurant. In the past, I have given it and the Hamburg location 5 stars. I came a few months ago and thought perhaps the night was a one off for missing the mark. I returned yesterday, and the same problems exist. My medium rare filet was overcooked on the exterior and rare plus inside. The sweet potatoes burned. My salad had a lone cherry tomato and three very thin slices of cucumber. I asked for a water with no ice and a lime. I got a lemon squeezed into the glass. My bread did come out promptly and warm with plenty of butter. My potato was replaced with a similarly overcooked and dry one. They offered to put my steak back on the grill or replace. I chose to eat it since I hate to waste food. There was also a large piece of connective tissue in the steak that took up two bites and the texture was tough. I had the same issue with the meat quality my last visit. So, I am very disappointed in my recent experiences. The grill and oven temps need closer attention, the salad needs more garnish and the meat quality re-evaluated. The wine selection remains consistent and adequate for the protein choices. I am giving this location a pause and will try the one at the Mall for comparison on my next Outback visit.
