Papi's at Palomar Reviews

Nestled in Lexington, Papi's at Palomar is a vibrant restaurant known for its warm hospitality and delightful Mexican cuisine. The restaurant's lively atmosphere, adorned with vivid colors, offers a cozy and friendly setting for various occasions. The menu boasts of savory dishes, such as chicken fajita nachos, pastor tacos, and enchiladas, which are rich in flavor and draw inspiration from ancient recipes. The Burrito Grande, smothered with cheese and al pastor, is a standout dish with amazing flavors. Fresh chips and salsa come with tiny bowls for double-dipping, and a tangy guacamole is also available. A refreshing margarita, like the Gameday Margarita, makes for an excellent pairing, though some may find it a bit sweet.
Marco's runs a wonderful restaurant with excellent food, great service, and a nice atmosphere featuring plenty of TVs to watch a ball game. The patio space is perfect for lunch, and outdoor music and activities for kids add to the fun. While the queso can sometimes be runny, the overall experience is very good, with polite and attentive staff. Papi's at Palomar remains a favorite spot for after-work gatherings and meetings, providing a taste of Mexican culture and leaving visitors with a longing for more.
