Interesting experience to say the least. Our server was stretched thin running tables all over the restaurant, inside and out. We saw him at the beginning and that was it. He was way to busy for us. We waved the bar tender down. We had a short laundry list of things we needed. She caught a attitude. I explained, we hadn't seen our sever hes to busy running in and out. Manager came by and asked how things was. We explained the frustrations with him. He was very understanding. He spoke w the bar tender she came back by being very nice. Server never came back till it was time for the check. I ordered a steak and asked the server about A1 sauce he said he eas 80% sure he had it if not it was a different kind. I never got any however the steak was super tender and tasted fantastic! My cheese enchilada that came with it was disgusting to be honest. Raw corn tortilla hardly heated hard to cut. No count. Beans and rice fantastic. My roomates 2 tamales meal she was was very good. However they were cold in the center and she was hungry and didnt wanna send them back. Kids seemed to enjoy their meals. Guacamole was fresh and great. Salsa had zero flavor. No hot sauce con table to kick it up. Mr Pibb flat. Manager was super nice. Gave us a discount.

I've been a longtime customer of Papi's at Palomar. Marco's runs a wonderful restaurant with excellent food, great service and atmosphere, and even outdoor music and activities for kids. Highly recommended.

Place was swamped with guests and maybe that was why it was so chaotic. Server was friendly but literally disappeared for long stretches of time for no apparent reason. It was sort of off-putting that food was delivered on the same trolleys that they used to collect dirty dishes. Very drunk woman in the lobby bothering other guests. Staff pretended she wasn’t there. Food was bland to the extreme and served lukewarm. Nice cocktail and beer list and fun lively atmosphere. No refills on chips or salsa but they were both quite tasty - would have been nice if they had a spicier salsa to choose from. With the large variety of similar restaurants in Lexington, probably won’t try this one again.

I would give the service zero stars but that’s not an option. The food was ok.it lacks some flavor, but wasn’t terrible. I ordered a drink I never got and I was never offered a refill on my water. The waitress was extremely slow and never checked in with us and wasn’t even the one to check us out because she literally ignored our table the entire time. The only time we saw her was when we flagged her down. We probably won’t be back based on the poor service.
