Great food and great service every time!

Waited 10-15 minutes to order. Waited another 20 minutes and never received my food. Cars that arrived after me had orders taken before me and also received their food.

This is our annual lunch stop when we travel from Chicago to Tennessee to see my parents. The fried chicken is absolutely great. Add the coleslaw which is delicious, the home made ranch to dip fries into… the fact that Billie Jean has been our server for many of these trips and that we now say “see you next year”! Great food, great people, and a nod to simpler days makes this a perfect spot.

My wife and I went to Parkette last evening with our 17 month old grandson. We have always had good service and good food at Parkette. But we went in and got our seats inside the main part and waited for someone to help us. I'm not sure how long the couple next to us had been there, but they finally left. After 10 more minutes, another couple had to go find someone to come take their order. At that point, they still didn't ask us even for our drink order. I refuse to go ask someone to serve us. That's their job. After 30 minutes, we left without anyone even acknowledging we were there. How sad that this once nice historic eatery can not provide good service for their customers.

Our corvette club recently stopped in on a Thursday evening and the manager gave us the garage to gather. The service and food were both awesome. I know our server was busy as hell taking orders and refilling drinks but she managed it all like a pro! In the past I've tried nearly all the burgers so to be different I ordered a fish sandwich. Wow, I'd get that again. Two medium sized fillets, nicely battered and fried. Good clean flavor, great sandwich alternative to a burger. There were about 22 of us and nobody had anything but a positive experience. We will certainly be back. Thanks Parkette team.

Stopped in while traveling for work, I like checking out local places. 1 word, PHENOMENAL. Inside is amazing, prices are fantastic, and order anything Billie Jean recommends, even if you have to take it home (although she advises to be careful if wearing white shirts, which we were). Absolutely plan on coming back next time in town

I've always loved these privately owned diners. Unfortunately they're a thing that's dying, an the pandemic hasn't been good for any establishment. This place is understaffed as most are. The dining room is open, an it's probably a better bet than trying to use the poorly maintained car speakers to order from. The dining area is cute and adequately clean, unlike the bathrooms. The Parkette food isn't bad for what it is, if you're looking for low calorie, low fat it's the wrong place. The owners probably need to decide what direction they'll take, either a new ordering system (wifi-phone) or end outdoor ordering. The place is in bad need of updates and repairs outside. But that's up to the owners, there's new places to eat all the time. Update or close in a few years.

Old school diner vibe, countertop service, or drive up. We ate at the counter, which was clean and pleasantly retro. Server was very friendly. Burgers were all good, sides were terrible. Oh good lord, those fries should be banned. They were either freezer burnt or baked… but they were such a damper on the whole burger and fries vibe. Milkshakes were freshly spun. Maybe we visited on an off day.

Came here cause we love diners and try to find “local flavors” when we travel. Saw many TV foodies visited and decided to try. Not at all worth the hype. I’ve had better quality burgers from high school football concession stands. Hard bun, cheap meat, generic fries, dry fried chicken… Tots (generic) were the best part of the 3 meals we ordered. Felt ripped off, left hungry.

Have to try the place if your in Lexington. You will walk into a 50's diner setting with the music. They also have a classic drive in set up like Sonic. I sat at the bar and had the "Pony Keg" beer cheese burger with fries. With a drink, it cost me around $13. These are not wimpy burgers, they will fill you up. Because of Covid, they were understaffed, but I got my burger at a lightning fast speed. Seems like the cook is always making burgers and fries, (not hand cut). I'd recommend this place to anyone. My only regret is I didn't get a shake because I was full.

The staff is always amazing, and their bot dogs are the best. I've never had a bad experience here, and will continue to eat here

If your looking for a place that stood still in time then this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel right at home.
