I haven't been to Pita Pit since covid first hit. Unfortunately this was one of the businesses that didn't come back from the covid shutdown. If you have one near you or one in your city I advise you try it out. I'm in Louisville and I'm willing to travel for a sandwich.

First time trying this and it was very good.. thanks for being patient with me since I didn't have a clue what to order... I'm so glad they had vegan options. I got the brown rice and quinoa with pretty much all the veggies red pepper hummus and black bean burger on top

I'd never been to a Pita Pit before, but I asked for a gyro and the person working the counter asked what I wanted to add to it and I said, "Whatever you recommend." and then they said they had no clue what to do and got out their phone to look it up... Gyro was alright. I also got a bag of chips and a fountain drink. So I'd say it was just an OK experience.
I tried Pita Pit for the first time and was not disappointed. I got the Smokin' Chicken Bacon BBQ and it was excellent. It had a perfect amount of heat and all of the ingredients worked well together. I had scheduled pickup in advance and the meal was ready at the selected time. The service was also very friendly.

The fact that you can customize anything on the menu is amazing. The staff have always been a pleasure to interact with and each menu item has satisfied my black hole of a stomach - Ode to Athens, Falafel bowl, and Smokin' Chicken Bacon BBQ (which I substituted the protein for a black bean patty).
