There are two locations for Mister Money, this one is concerning the one on New Circle. I recently had a pistol in pawn for several months, went to pick it up, background check was delayed, & I was told that I would be called when the check was cleared. No call came. Went to Dan's (also on New Circle Rd; they apparently are all owned by the same company) to make a payment to avoid more interest while waiting for the check to clear. I get a call last week that the expiration is approaching, I ask how much it will be to pick up ON THE DATE (today), I'm told $240. Long story short, I go to pick it up today and there is another $30 tacked onto the pawn price. The manager on duty, Katie, was extremely inflexible regarding what I had been told & all she could say was "I wasn't here when you talked to that employee." I paid it, got my pistol and left. I used to shop here at least twice a month; I will be finding another pawnshop to use in the future since this one is determined to squeeze all the cents out of you.
