Today came to the Fayette mall to enjoy lunch with my friend as I regularly do and eat the same thing I get a greek salad and then go over to poke life to purchase 2 helpings of protein and a drink. Never until today have I had a problem. The lady at the counter was leaning up on the counter on her phone. I politely waited and then of course asked for my regular and she said we dont do that never have. I ask to speak with someone else 3x before she finally called someone from back and she immediately started speaking in their language as if the person could not understand english. I waited again and then explained the situation again was told that I was wrong. So then I walked away and was watched as I ate my salad and wrote this review. Really sad part of it as i sit here at the table. I look up to see both of them stairing so uncomfortable. I was getting ready to leave I have never felt so uncomfortable and the only reason I didnt immediately leave is because my elderly friend was eating and I was not going g to ruin his meal.

I’ve been coming here pretty regularly for four years. They never skimped my portions out and was always a good modest amount of food for what I paid, especially the quality. dude with a beard and a fade was so good at making my bowl then new people started arriving and every time my bowl gets smaller and smaller and smaller😒 bro in the hat is a goat, the rest of them need to take notes (especially the new woman who’s been working there a couple months she gave me like half a bowl last time for $16. It was ridiculous.)

My favorite poke place in Lexington :) The portion is generous, especially when you get raw fish for the protein, the amount is so generous compared to other places. I always get spicy salmon and tuna with white rice, seaweed salad, avocado, cucumber, masago, mango, and edamame. Drizzle it with soy sauce and mix it well. Heaven. My favorite meal at the mall.

Omar was absolutely amazing and nice , the sushi chef had emergency, he was so kind and showed he truly wanted my business so kind , he really makes the experience better and bring a lot to the table at poke life

Friendly staff
The brown rice was so undercooked for the poke bowl that it was crunchy!Also the guy was very impatient, we we're the only ones there getting food.
Chicken served cold as ice, brown rice is flavorless and yum yum sauce is watered down. Go to a hibachi restaurant and don't waste your time.
