We came in because this was one of the only places open late on our road trip to Michigan. This spot made a pitstop feel like a destination!!! Unique and country homegrown dishes from the real heart of Kentucky!
My salad had really fresh ingredients and surprisingly, chicken that seemed like it was just cooked (NOT FROZEN) even tho it was 10 pm and their fresh veggie list and meat list is unbelievable!
Nicole served us and she was sweet, knowledgeable about all the food, and fast!!
But above all…. The pies…. Please exercise caution. ⚠️ Derby Pie might have just been MVP of our lives 🥹

Great food, staff was attentive, not expensive. Would go back if in the area again

They keep raising prices. 15 dollars for chicken and dumplings plus tip is ridiculous.

This restaurant has the best chicken livers around.

If you want good fresh Kentucky food, Ramsey's is the place!
The Meat and Three is the best option as everything is good. We can vouch for the country fried steak,a Fried Catfish, brussel sprouts, parmesan fried corn on the cob, fried okra, kale, and cornbread sticks. In Louisville, we really need a Ramsey's Dinner!

While visiting family in Lexington, my family recommended Ramsey's. a local favorite for dinner. Ramsey's is not fine dining, but serves fresh, southern style favorites at a fair price. You can relax with your favorite beverage and look at the pictures of historic Lexington that line the walls. The service was excellent and our large group was served with no gaps. Ramsey'sdinner menu features the favorite "meat and three" selections. I had the blackened catfish, greens, potato salad and fried green tomatoes. They also serve burgers, sandwiches and offers a full bar. This is the only restaurant I've ever visited that guarantees your meal or your money back. There is amplle parking and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible

Parking: Plentyt of parking outside of restaurant

Kid-friendliness: Family atmopsphere

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from parking lot.

Always enjoyed the down-home cooking with a quaint atmosphere. Vegetable and meat choices are well prepared. Tried the fried pork chops for the first time. The coating was thin, crisp, and slightly salty. It is very similar to what I would fix at home. Got more pie choices there than I would bake in a year.

Parking: Spots are more than sufficient for the size of the restaurant as they are in a strip mall on Manowar Boulevard.

Solid southern-style meal at a reasonable price. Fried catfish was first rate. It was a thick filet. Fried tomatoes were just right. Great server. Local patronage. Should of saved room for pie, all of which looked great.

Ramsey's was suggested by the hotel staff and it was a great suggestion. We appreciated the restaurant's large selection of vegetables. The food was deliciously prepared and service was quick and friendly.
