I was super thirsty. My family and I stopped in to get drinks and a late lunch. I got a root beer. The cups aren’t huge and I went through the first one quickly because as I said, I was thirsty. My salad came to the table. While eating that, I drank my second root beer. My entree arrived. While eating that, I needed a refill. I am less than ten feet from the refill station. I hear our waitress tell the bartender, “she is killing me with drinking so much” as she is filling the mug to bring me my drink. I felt bad. My family felt bad. Wasn’t like she had to hand craft something and it took forever. It was a mug of root beer walked less than 10 feet to me. If I’m paying good money to be there, I’m pretty sure that third cup didn’t hurt anyone. It’s okay if you wanna talk about me but at least make sure it’s not within earshot. That’s not good service.
We had the char broiled pork chops with red sauce with creamed corn and mashed potatoes! The pork chops were soooooo tender and cooked perfectly and the sauce was Devine! We are putting them on our rotation for dining out! 10 out of 10!!!!
Word of mouth led us to Ramsey’s, and it was worth every bite. The pot roast and catfish? Absolute winners. Sides like mashed potatoes, green beans, and honey carrots hit all the comfort notes. And the pie case? A dessert lover’s dream—I couldn’t take my eyes off it. Ended with a slice of cheesecake that was worth the wait. The pies alone are worth the visit. The rest of the menu simply sweetens the experience.
There was a mix up with our reservation and our party was overlooked. They immediately found us a table, despite the busyness. They were genuinely apologetic and continued to make it right without us even asking.
Our service was super friendly, helpful, and professional. I've been to Ramsey's several times and have never had a poor experience with food --it's always top notch. I especially like the pot roast and pork chops. Definitely will be back!

This place was fabulous! Good food and excellent service! We would definitely itself go again. Their Kentucky Hot Brown was one of the best I’ve ever had!

I had a great experience at Ramsey’s! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Lisa took care of our table and was extremely polite and attentive the whole time. She also makes a fantastic Kentucky Mules one of the best I’ve had! I’ll definitely be coming back for both the food and the service.
