Love going there. The staff is always nice and very pleasant. The store is filled with a lots of variety of goods. I wish they would sell bread, but hey hopefully it's coming soon ? ?

My wife and I hired Randa's Kitchen to cater our wedding reception in September 2021. It turned out to be a huge mistake and pretty much the sole "thing that went wrong" at our wedding. She ran out of food for our guests three quarters of the way through dinner, having incorrectly recorded our final guest count. Parts of the menu we had agreed upon in contract were either completely absent or prepared differently, and we found out that it was several of her staff members' first day on the job for our meticulously planned event. The lack of service was evident with water cups not being refilled, finished plates not being collected, supplies running short, and no help whatsoever from her staff for the room flip as was agreed. Fortunately my groomsmen stepped to help where needed. Once Ranada did show up later in the night with more food that was completely different and thrown together, her attitude was abrasive and defensive towards our wedding planner. At one point after dinner service had concluded, Ranada cornered our wedding planner outside and berated her to tears, threatening to walk away without rinsing dishes AND pull my wife and me off the dance floor and make a scene if she wasn't paid the remaining balance in full immediately. We attempted to contact Ranada after returning from our honeymoon to debrief, get her side of the story, and ask for a partial refund as she did not meet her contractual obligations. Unsurprisingly, calls, texts and emails went unanswered and we decided it's not worth it to pursue. Her restaurant closed a few months later, but not before she completely flaked out on another poor couple's wedding altogether that my uncle happened to be in attendance for. It's a real shame because she seemed like a nice person up until it was actually time to perform, and the food we were served at her restaurant before was delicious. Please consider other options for catering service for your wedding or event.

It was the last night for Ranada's and we were thrilled to be a part of it! Food was good, staff was so nice and friendly, and Ranada was awesome, coming out to our table and spending time talking with us. Even remembered we had sat at the same table once before! Wishing her only the best with the next chapter!

Great atmosphere, but we were sat by the door and it was getting crowded around us with people waiting on a table. Food was amazing and our waiter was helpful with making final decisions on dinner selection since this was our first visit.

Had always wanted to try this restaurant; very busy at 5 pm on a Friday and not fully staffed yet. Server was friendly but a little overwhelmed. Other servers assisted our server. Our server did not ask about our drinks, quickly took our order because a 12 person table was getting ready to order. They were out of fish so we ended up with fried chicken which was good but mashed potatoes were ice cold. No bread with our meal even though we offered to pay extra. Server was busy and didn't inquire about dessert. $42 for two entrees....went to Graeters for dessert. Not very impressed overall ....we wouldn't recommend

The owner of this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves! The new floor staff tried so hard but couldn't compensate for the disaster coming out of the kitchen. Waited exactly 52 minutes for an entree that didn't arrive, the butt of the Bibb lettuce was included in my $12 salad, out of Feta for the whipped feta board etc.

We celebrated a birthday at Ranada's. From beginning to end, we were made to feel welcome and special. Ranada herself spoke with us more than once; it was a very warm, personal touch. Everyone was highly complimentary of their food and the experience. Highly recommend!

Excellent! Unique food choices and ecclectic, artsy atmosphere. The owner, Ranada, came and spoke to us and made us feel very welcome. I wish I lived in the neighborhood; I would be a regular!

I received a text from Open Table to confirm my reservation (which was for a large group in town for a wedding) but the restaurant was closed when we arrived. After a few minutes, a woman came out stating she had no waiters, no bartenders and 1 cook due to no one showing up. She said if we would be patient, she'd take care of us so we took a chance. We ended up only making it through a round of drinks, most of which we didn't get or she was out of. Unfortunate situation but Open Table really should remove this restaurant from their booking service.

I can't really complain about the food the value the ambience or the overall experience because there wasn't any. Arrived at the restaurant early restaurant was closed there was no warning. It is regrettable that this business has descended to this because when it was operational things were good. I fear they are another victim of the pandemic. This business is done. I give an outstanding value overall because it cost me nothing to be humiliated for my wife's birthday dinner.

We had reservations but there were no tables available so the host put us at the bar. We waited 15 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted a drink. We then waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks. Then we were told that they would not be taking food orders for the next hour.

I'm not one to write reviews, but Ranada's Kitchen was so bad that I feel like I have to. The service was awful. We waited forever for a someone to come to our table after we were seated. At first, we thought there was a miscommunication. No big deal - it happens. However, during our meal, we saw three separate groups get seated, wait, and then leave without having a single server speak with them. We ordered appetizers, one salad, and entrees. We received, in order: salad, 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 app... all within the same 15 minutes. And the food was bad. It was bland and, in some cases, cold from waiting to come out to us. Worst meal we've had in a long, long time. Would give zero stars if we could.

I was looking forward to dinner at Ranada's Kitchen with my book club group. Several member's had also indicated their excitement. I had made reservation's through Open table. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and upset when, the day of my reservations, I was informed by another member of the party, whom had arrived prior, that the restaurant was closed " for cleaning". I got no notification from the restaurant about cancelling my reservations, or that there was an issue. I had to be quick on my feet to find an alternative, literally at the last minute.

What a waste. They advertise a brunch experience on Open Table. Drive all the way down town, only to find out that they are closed. Turn your reservations off and stop advertising to get more. We were not happy.

We made a reservation on the day of our visit, not long before our time slot (and giving up other available restaurant reservations at the same time). We approached the locked door and a man came out to tell us they were closed and no one showed up to work. Two more groups of people came up as we were leaving and we gave them the same news. They too had a reservation. I completely understand that these are unprecedented times and that things happen. But... they could have taken themselves out of the reservation pool so that we didn't make a reservation after they knew they were not going to be able to accommodate their reservations. They also could have (should have) given the courtesy of calling those who made reservations to let them know they wouldn't be able to accommodate them. Finally, they should have canceled the reservations made through Open Table so that we had the opportunity to try to lock in a table somewhere else. Because they didn't do any of these things, groups of people who planned ahead and looked forward to visiting with family and friends over what was promised as an “experience “ by this establishment were left with no ability to rebook an Open Table reservation (the reservation was locked, the only way to “cancel” was to call the restaurant, and you can't book two reservations over the same time) and driving to multiple restaurants to try to get a table (we ran into one of the other groups at Carson's and we were all turned away because we didn't have a reservation). Ranada was right about one thing. We did have an experience. It's just not one I want to go through again. More frustrating is that I'd been warned (and you can consider yourself warned). I'd read multiple reviews about this restaurant and negative experiences— including what I described above. I felt compelled to give them another chance (had a previous mediocre experience). The second chance was provided. There won't be a third.
