Love ❣️ First visit just the two of us at the bar. Owner and bartender both so friendly. I am a huge fan of a tapas dinner. My only trouble was deciding what to choose from the menu. We have since invited friends to join us several times. The rooftop seating is wonderful! Now I am craving. Can't wait to return!

Tasty Thai food and friendly service at this downtown small restaurant. The menu is Asian. There are alcoholic drinks. Prices are good.

Had dinner here while family was in town. Ambience was nice, nothing stellar but room for conversation and friendly staff (bartender was telling us about his homemade limoncello). Food was AMAZING. Asian-inspired tapas. The karaage, especially, I just couldn't stop eating. My brother was *this* close to ordering some to take home - but we were all too stuffed from the meal. Lots of restaurants come and go in this spot but I hope they stick around.

We had a reservation. Sat us on 2nd floor. Not a single table seated on 2nd floor. Lots of open tables on 1st floor. We wanted to watch sports on TV. They struggled to get TV to work on 2nd floor. We asked to move to main floor. UK Football weekend! Empty tables on 1st floor. We were treated rudely. Table of 7 left. They could not of cared less. Been to every restaurant in Lexington as alumni many times. Never treated as more meaningless. UK Alum, not our place. …

I've been to Roulay a few times now and they do not disappoint! The first time, I came for an event and was able to go to the upstairs bar and the rooftop for a few drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and unique. I would highly recommend making your way up there! I've also been to Roulay for dinner a few times. The menu is short, but standard for a restaurant like this. The food is tasty and can be modified based on how spicy you like your meals. My husband and I both choose a spice level of 3, which we thought was the perfect amount of heat and flavor. We got beignets for dessert, which were good, but we didn't care for the dipping sauces provided (chocolate and caramel).

Special shout out to our server Joey for being so accommodating and kind!! We had a large group on the rooftop to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the service was amazing!! Not to mention the beautiful rooftop view, delicious drinks, and incredible food! I had the Hurricane to drink, and the Pad Thai with tofu! Truly a gem of Lexington, 100% recommend this place to family and friends!

Very nice atmosphere. Was raining so we didn't get to experience the rooftop. Will go back.

Excellent service and food! Sat on the lovely rooftop and Sebastian and Joseph took excellent care of us! Pad Thai was delicious and a very generous serving - the charred oysters were also fabulous! Highly recommend!

After a quick Google we thought this place was Cajun French cuisine, when we arrived the entire menu was Thai. We decided to try it anyway, the food was good, however, our service wasn't the best. When we left I did a deeper Google dive and it seems they closed then reopened but that was buried in an article half way down the search page. Overall disappointed with our experience.

It was a Cajun restaurant, now all of a sudden turned Thai restaurant. The chicken teriyaki was terrible. Drinks were decent.

Went to dinner with two friends. We enjoyed the Zombie Dust IPA while trying out a couple appetizers: shrimp tempura and yellowtail sashimi with jalapenos. Both were yummy! The bar had a nice Bourbon selection.

Stumbled onto this place as the restaurant we intended to go to next door was closed. The Yelp reviews made it seem like they served Cajun/Louisiana-style cuisine (and pretty good reviews), but only when we were seated did we realize the menu comprised primarily of a hodgepodge of Asian dishes. Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Chinese. We ordered a couple drinks, which were not bad but slightly disappointing for the price point ($9 for a cocktail). We ordered 3 small tapas style dishes (Korean tacos, some sort of steak, and soft shell crab). Tortillas were not warm, steak was very hard and sliced into large pieces and served without a knife, crab was actually pretty decent. Unfortunately, there was a hair in 2 of the dishes- not a huge deal if it's just one dish, but come on.. 2 out of 3?! Ended up not ordering entrees and went to another place that night. Overall, ignoring the hair (maybe a fluke) the food was still not great and super confusing. I wonder if they recently changed chefs or something. I will not be going back.

Lovely summer evening, but weather is perfect. Pimms cocktail refreshing. Appetizers veggie spring rolls, delicious. Husband really enjoyed hot sour soup with shrimp.Recommend a visit, also rooftop is open.

BEWARE: this place is no longer a Cajun/creole cuisine restaurant. They serve some Thai/asian fusion food! Food was tasty and wait staff was really nice. See updated menu in the pics.

Nice spot! Good flavors. Really great drinks. Didn't get to the roof yet, but will plan on it.
