Watch your receipt for extra charges. I got charged for queso/guac sneakily when I never ordered one. Be careful.

This place is depressing. It's really gone down hill. It's dark and dirty and has appliances out in the restaurant. There are no working bathrooms. I ordered a chicken bowl with brown rice. The rice was hard and the chicken had shredded beef mixed in.

Earlier this week I had placed a small catering order for a 4:00 Saturday pick up. On Saturday morning at 10:45 I received a call that due to a water issue, the store was closing and they asked if I could come pick up my food ASAP, which I was unable to do. After some back and forth and unprofessionalismI requested to cancel my order since it no longer felt that I could rely on someone being at the store to pick the food up from. Shortly after I received a phone call from the owner of salsaritas, Holli Gibson. I figured she was calling to apologize for the miscommunication and would ask for me to keep my order. Instead Ms. Gibson called guns-a-blazing, no apology, no accountability, no attempt of customer service. She lectured me, talked down to me and refused to cancel my order. She also spoke in a condescending way about her employees.I would have gladly kept my order if the owner would have handled the situation better. A genuine apology and reassurance is all it would have taken. So yes Holli, I do know how the service industry works, it starts with customer service.

This place has one of the best cheese quesadillas I have ever had. Along with their good chips and cheese dip.

Foul. Chicken burrito (which was supposed to be a bean burrito) was watery, lacked flavor, and had bones in it. Probably the worst burrito I've ever had.

I typically love salsaritas. Unfortunately when I received my burrito that specifically said no cheese due to a dairy allergy I have. I called and the young lady I spoke with was less than helpful and had quite the attitude. It is not only me that has a milk protein allergy it’s my infant as well. I expected a deep apology and offered a complete refund, which I did not receive.

Decent food but bland on spice and flavor. Not a bad experience and the employees are friendly but the food was just lacking in flavor.

Just moved to Lexington area. Have driven by salsaritas a few times and decided to stop in today! Woman that helped me was very friendly! I ordered a regular bowl with Mexican rice, black beans, half chicken, half pork, fajita veggies(extra$), lettuce, cheese, hot salsa, pico, fresh jalapeños and sour cream. Also got the combo with chips/salsa and a drink and added on a side of guacamole. Total came to just over $14 which I think is comparable to chipotle. I thought the food was fresh and good and i like how they offer pickled and fresh jalapeños as toppings!! This will be my new go to place to get quick Mexican food instead of chipotle especially when I’m with my kiddos since they don’t like the spicy seasoning chipotle now puts on their meats.

This was a LOT of food for the money! The shrimp burrito is unbelievable! I'm 6'1" 280# and I could barely finish it. I ordered the fully-loaded large nachos at the same time thinking I'd have lunch covered for the next day. When they plopped the nachos to-go box on the counter, it made the most satisfying THUMP (imagine wrapping a 5lb weight in an towel and dropping it). ¡Tienes que probar este restaurante!

If certain items are going to be up charged you should tell the customer before you get to the register I was expecting to spend about $9 spent 12 I know it's only $3 but it's the principle of the matter

Very bad, unethical company with an extremely rude owner. We called to place an order because we had gift cards for salsaritas. We checked with the store to make sure we could use them. They said that was fine. So we ordered our food, they asked for a debit card to hold on file Incase we didn't pick up the food. Sure, totally reasonable. We reiterated, just to make sure, that we were paying with giftcards. They said well need to do that when we come in. So we call to let them know we're running a little late, but wanted to see if we could go ahead and pay. This time the lady asked if we bought the giftcards from this particular location. We told her no, and she said well we can't use them. We reminded her that we asked before we ordered. She told us that it didn't matter because the food was already made, and we would be charged for it. We asked for the owner to call us back. She didn't seem like she understood what we were saying, and was as rude as could be. She said that she didn't like that we didn't want to come to her restaurant until we had these giftcards. What's that got to do with the price of tea in China? You need to work hard to get a rating as low as 3.6 stars, but yikes. Avoid this place.
