Super creamy and delicious homemade ice cream. Awesome mural on the front of the building and friendly atmosphere. We had five of Sav’s roughly 20 flavors, and all were excellent. Visiting from Philly at the Kentucky Horse Park and can’t wait to come back.
We were in the area for Blue Door BBQ and decided to top off our brisket with some desert. To our surprise, Sav’s ice cream was exceptional. Definitely worthy of 5 star rating and a repeat to try out other flavors.
Sav’s was fun! Some inventive ice cream flavours and he’s a lovely guy. There weren’t any flavours I wanted personally (hence the 4/5 stars), but the wife got the Ale-8-One flavour and loved it (wasn’t for me). Basically this comes down to a difference of personal taste, but I can tell from the wife’s enthusiasm that it was excellent quality.
