March 23, 2024- I placed an order for delivery. When I received it, the Tonpie Yaki was missing. I tried to call only to have their phone ring 1 time then drop. I tried to find a section to email them directly but was unable to find such. I need a refund for this order!

Sushi was not fresh. Did not taste good at all. Expensive for bad sushi is disappointing.

Incredible food at this spot. Went in for Valentine’s Day, had the winter special of crab meat and bechamel croquettes, and WOW. One of the best dishes I’ve had in Lexington. Great sushi, and also really affordable.

Genuine Japanese. Have stuff on menu hard to find in usual US based Japanese restaurants. Had the curry. Amazing.

Absolutely fantastic place, definitely go there if you've been to or lived in Japan! I was extremely surprised and pleased to see 3 different Nagoya dishes on the menu (hitsumabushi, ankake soba, and misonikomi udon a seasonal option). Now if they'd get red miso ramen on the menu I'd go here every day!

School Sushi Lex is one of the best places for ramen + sushi in Lex! This is a great spot for a date night or just hanging out with friends. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is super friendly! Definitely a great place to try something new on the menu!

One of our rolls had a black hair on it. They remade it but no one was overly apologetic and they still charged us full price. Besides that the food itself was pretty mid. We goy two classic rolls and a fried specialty roll. The classics were fine, I wasn't super excited about it. The specialty roll wasn't very good, it had A LOT of cream cheese in it and that was pretty much all you could taste. Our friends got classic sushi and said that wasn't good either. It also took forever for food to come out. Overall probably one of the worst sushi (food and experiences) we've had in Lexington. Will not be going back or recommending

Our waiter & the chef were knowledgeable, friendly & fun. I got the curry...very very yummy. My brother got a noodle dish. He said it was delicious. We also got the octopus & a spicy tuna roll. Both were great. I would definitely recommend the place. ????

Ordered one chef special and two lobster fashions. Two chefs specials were brought out first, so I'm thinking maybe he just misunderstood what dish I only wanted one of, so I waited until the second dish came out, and it was also two lobster fashions. After pointing this out to him, he said I'm sorry then tried to charge me for both. ( No, we did not eat the second Chef Special). It wasn't a horrible experience however I would definitely speak up because it seems as if they just try to add to your bill hoping you won't say anything ? Not today!!!

Food was fascinating and complex and delicious. The place takes itself very seriously, which is not my favorite trait, but the food was amazing enough to overcome that.
